The accommodation is better than I expected, with comfortable rooms at an affordable price considering where you are.
The shared bathrooms are numerous and have always been spotless.
The breakfast is quite good.
The location, perhaps a drawback for some, allows a walk of about 20 minutes to the center where you do not feel, in principle, any danger.
I recommend it!

Longyearbyen is the best choice for traveling alone. It is far from the center but close to the mountains. Haha

This is a very cheap price here
Overall the experience was actually quite good
Breakfast can be full
However it is indeed some distance from the center bit
It probably takes 20-30 minutes to walk

The only downside is that it is far from the city center and there is no subway there. It is a bit inconvenient without a car, especially when you go there a lot. But the price/performance ratio is good, and there is breakfast (I had waffles that day).

Very good youth hostel, with breakfast, clean bathroom, good front desk attitude, off-season, four-person room, but there are few people, I am the only one in the room, about 2km from the center, half an hour walk

This is no doubt one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed! Clean, quiet, warm, very friendly and helpful staff, interesting people from all over the world, and nice breakfast too!!

Not in central Longyerbyen but I believe it is was it makes it unique! You have the best views of the town! Amazing!
