Hotels Near Xishan Shaoleguan Scenic Spot in Longsheng

The round bed room is pretty cool. It gives a view over Seven Stars with Moon. We enjoyed very much the traditional Yao’s style architecture. The building and the rooms are all made of wood. The food in the hotel restaurant is tasty esp. the chicken in bamboo. The owners are hospitable. They provided a lot of useful information like the instruction to get to DaZhai, what are nicest viewing spots and how to get PinAn by hiking.

The boss was very enthusiastic and drove us back and forth to the scenic spots. The scenery in the hotel was very good, and we stayed in the B&B for a whole morning. The meal cooked by the boss's family at noon was very delicious. The chicken, frog, and shrimp were all real ** and cheap. I would like to come again if I have the chance

The B&B is located halfway up the mountain in Dazhai. Although the facilities are not up to the level of a star hotel, they are very good considering the transportation costs. What we drink and use in Dazhai is mountain spring water. Everyone agrees that this water is very comfortable after washing your face. The rooms in the B&B with two cities and one living room are on the top floor and have a great view. It is about 900 meters away from the starting point of Longji Jinkeng Cableway. The owner's family is very nice and the food they cook is very delicious. The chicken soup is great if you eat two of them.

Before going to Longji Terraces Scenic Area, I read the comments of netizens and chose this homestay. It is really worthy of its reputation. The food is very delicious. The couple has the simplicity and ability of the Red Yao people. The hotel is not full, so they upgraded us to a family room. The view is superb! Thank you very much. I will come here to eat, stay and play next time when I have time.

Poetry and Distance was full that day. Fortunately, the store paid the difference and upgraded the Water and Sky Room type (the room type facing the terraced fields). I feel that I still have to look at the panoramic view when booking a room in the future, and I can't trust the rankings. Finally, the most cost-effective room type of this B&B is still Poetry and Distance.

It was a very satisfying experience. The boss and his wife were very enthusiastic and patient. The boss personally picked us up and helped with the luggage. The service was very good. The boss's wife cooked delicious food, introduced it very pertinently, and gave practical suggestions for sightseeing. I booked a triple bed and a round bed. It was very clean. You can see the terraced fields outside. The scenery is particularly good. You can take pictures in the hotel and make them. It is very cost-effective and can be recommended to friends around you. I found this B&B online. Thanks to the owner for upgrading the room. The scenery is so beautiful. I can't get enough of the fried bamboo shoots. The bamboo tube chicken and bamboo tube rice are especially fresh and sweet. I will come to your home again if I have the chance. Before leaving, I also brought some monk fruit grown by the owner to drink in water. It's cheaper than what is sold outside. It's mainly for peace of mind. I'd like to add that our luggage is quite heavy. The owner's mother carried it on her back when we came and went. I was very touched. Don't miss this home if you want to come.

We had a bad start as there was no one to check us in despite arriving at 3:00pm, but they apologized and made it up to us. The lady who runs the place and her two dogs were very friendly. Really bad weather in Ping’an village (Nov 13-14), luckily the room was beautiful and comfortable. It was pity we couldn’t enjoy the views from our balcony because of the fog. The bathroom was a highlight, better than the ones we had in 4* hotels all over China. One thing we did notice is that there was no table inside the room as the pictures had you believe. We did have a table in the balcony, but not inside the room, so we couldn’t use it as it was really really cold outside. The internet was fine, could do some work from my room. **On a side note, if you plan to get here from Guilin using public transportation you should think twice. We took the bus from Qintan station to Longshen at 10:00am and ended up arriving at the hotel until 3:00pm as we didn’t catch the connecting bus to Ping’An. The bus also makes a lot stops so it’s not time efficient. It was cheap though, and people at both stations were super friendly and eager to lead us to the right bus.

The store has complete facilities, but there was no hot water supply around 9pm. I took a cold shower and asked the host if there were too many people using hot water at the same time. It would be better if it was later. Everything else was very good. The main reason was that the price was reasonable!
