Hotels Near Xicheng Pedestrian Street in Longsheng

It’s only 4 kilometers away from the expressway, so it’s a good place to take a night’s rest on the way back home. The hotel is built in the middle of the mountain. The deluxe twin rooms are on the first floor. The hotel upgrades to the second floor for free. The room is very spacious, clean and hygienic, and the hot water is great. High praise! The view room with balcony is on the front side of the hotel, and the view will be much wider. Personally, I think that although the room at the back of the mountain does not have a balcony, it is very quiet and comfortable to sleep in. I forgot to take photos. The night view of Longsheng County is very beautiful and suitable for walking along the river.

I found this B&B online. Thanks to the owner for upgrading the room. The scenery is so beautiful. I can't get enough of the fried bamboo shoots. The bamboo tube chicken and bamboo tube rice are especially fresh and sweet. I will come to your home again if I have the chance. Before leaving, I also brought some monk fruit grown by the owner to drink in water. It's cheaper than what is sold outside. It's mainly for peace of mind. I'd like to add that our luggage is quite heavy. The owner's mother carried it on her back when we came and went. I was very touched. Don't miss this home if you want to come.

We chose to stay at Baike over a Sunday and Monday night at Ping An Village in the Longji because we saw that it was one of the top rated small hotels in China. It was also conveniently located at a short walk away from the Ping An parking lot. We were not disappointed. The service was above and beyond. The owner, Jason personally came down to greet us at the parking lot and hauled our luggages up to the hotel. Jason speaks English and is quick to respond to any information or special requests. He helped us arrange a detour to a traditional dance performance for our trip back to Guilin. One look at the place and we could tell no expenses were spared to keep all the facilities and equipment in top-notch condition. From the AC, the windows, the mosquito screens, and bathroom were in emacculate condition. Not a speck of dust, not one! For a relaxing, carefree stay at Ping An Village, we believe this is hands down the best hotel. Thank you Jason and all your staff for a wonderful and relaxing stay in the mountains.

We had a bad start as there was no one to check us in despite arriving at 3:00pm, but they apologized and made it up to us. The lady who runs the place and her two dogs were very friendly. Really bad weather in Ping’an village (Nov 13-14), luckily the room was beautiful and comfortable. It was pity we couldn’t enjoy the views from our balcony because of the fog. The bathroom was a highlight, better than the ones we had in 4* hotels all over China. One thing we did notice is that there was no table inside the room as the pictures had you believe. We did have a table in the balcony, but not inside the room, so we couldn’t use it as it was really really cold outside. The internet was fine, could do some work from my room. **On a side note, if you plan to get here from Guilin using public transportation you should think twice. We took the bus from Qintan station to Longshen at 10:00am and ended up arriving at the hotel until 3:00pm as we didn’t catch the connecting bus to Ping’An. The bus also makes a lot stops so it’s not time efficient. It was cheap though, and people at both stations were super friendly and eager to lead us to the right bus.

There are few comments, but I must praise Yundu this time! First of all, it should be the most satisfactory homestay on this trip. When we arrived at the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot, the homestay would arrange a handsome boy to pick us up at the parking lot. After getting off the car, we walked along the mountain trail to the homestay within 5 minutes. We didn't have to carry the suitcases by ourselves. The handsome boy put the luggage outside the room door early. Secondly, the room facilities are very new and complete, with smart toilets, projections, and clean and tidy hygiene. We booked a 270° panoramic mountain room. All the rooms in the homestay can see the whole view of the terraced fields. It is a 5-minute walk from the No. 1 viewing platform, but I don't think there is any need to go to the viewing platform specifically. This homestay is full of panoramic views! Moreover, no matter what room type, it is equipped with an independent terrace, where you can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Finally, the food is reasonably priced, including bamboo chicken, bamboo glutinous rice, fish, etc. All the food is delicious! We also gave the Yao family homemade glutinous rice wine, which is very delicious. I drank more than half a pot by myself, and I can ask for more if it is not enough! After checking in, the handsome guy will send us back to the Dazhai parking lot. In short, if the full score is 10, I will give it 100 points! 😃😃 If I have to say a disadvantage, it is that I don’t want to leave! 😁😁

Perfect hotel. The view from the bedroom is so good that you don't even feel like you need to leave the hotel. The food at the restaurant is also great and at a good price. They don't know how to speak english but they always tried to help with everything they could and we were able to communicate through translation apps. We booked transfers from guilin to the hotel and from the hotel to Yangshuo and everything went very smoothly (and a lot cheaper than we would get anywhere else). The breakfast is only chinese and rather small, but very tasty! We recommend this hotel to anyone going to this area.

I chose a relatively niche one among the many homestays recommended by xhs, and the experience was very good! I took a taxi from Guilin to the Dazhai parking lot. The owner of the homestay sent a master to the parking lot to pick us up. We waited for about ten minutes. The boss can also help to arrange a car from the parking lot to return to Guilin city. The bus that came here asked us to buy round-trip bus tickets without buying them! We just wasted fifty yuan. We had lunch at the homestay. The two of us didn't dare to order too much. We could order braised chicken and spring water chicken in pairs. We had spring water chicken at noon and braised chicken at night. It was delicious! We also ate bamboo shoots, which were very fresh. The boss's family also gave us rice wine and freshly ground coffee, which were both delicious! You can also take pictures in the ethnic costumes provided by the homestay, and the boss will give you refined photos. It took only ten minutes to walk from the homestay to the Jinkeng Dazhai Thousand-Layer Ladder and Xishan Shaole, which is very convenient! When I was having dinner, I felt so warm to see the boss's family eating too, hahahahaha! The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool. It's a bit cold today and there are not many people. It looks very good~

The round bed room is pretty cool. It gives a view over Seven Stars with Moon. We enjoyed very much the traditional Yao’s style architecture. The building and the rooms are all made of wood. The food in the hotel restaurant is tasty esp. the chicken in bamboo. The owners are hospitable. They provided a lot of useful information like the instruction to get to DaZhai, what are nicest viewing spots and how to get PinAn by hiking.

Before going to Longji Terraces Scenic Area, I read the comments of netizens and chose this homestay. It is really worthy of its reputation. The food is very delicious. The couple has the simplicity and ability of the Red Yao people. The hotel is not full, so they upgraded us to a family room. The view is superb! Thank you very much. I will come here to eat, stay and play next time when I have time.

The boss's wife cooked delicious food, introduced it very pertinently, and gave practical suggestions for sightseeing. I booked a triple bed and a round bed. It was very clean. You can see the terraced fields outside. The scenery is particularly good. You can take pictures in the hotel and make them. It is very cost-effective and can be recommended to friends around you.
