• Dated but comfortable room • Queen-size bed & single bed • Original tired, but clean ensuite – great water pressure & temperature • Conveniently located walking distance into town • Great amenities in the room – tea/coffee facilities, bar fridge, microwave & TV with study desk (great if you need to catch up with work) • Good access with parking outside your room undercover

We had 5 nights in a king suite which was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great location being close to shops and restaurants. It was about 2 km from Qantas, Stockmans Hall of Fame and School of distant education which would have been a nice walk along the Botanic walking path if it hadn’t been 35°. However the owners were happy to drop us off and pick us up whenever we needed. Wonderful service Martin. 👏👏

The rooms were ok, needed some work on it. Was tidy enough, overpriced . Managers seemed ok. Pub down the road for nice meals. To expensive at Motel. Will research a bit next time. Close by most things but lacked a few car parks but street parking ok.

We spent 3 nights here before we went to Winton and 3 nights on the way back. We had a different room each time, but both were really good. The rooms were clean and welcoming, with the bedside lights already switched on as we entered. It was very cold in the evenings, but the air conditioning was very efficient, so the rooms were cosy. The beds were comfortable, the linen crisp and clean, the towels thick and the showers very nice. There was a generous supply of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. It was perfect - directly opposite the railway station and easy walking distance to everything in Longreach. Amanda and Martin were excellent hosts and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

Great motel with helpful staff to book us in and clean surroundings. All concreted (important in these parts of the Outback) so dust & mud can be kept down to a minimum. Spacious room & up to date clean bathroom. Undercover parking but not allocated, so get in each night early to ensure you have a park close to your room!

Good size clean room with comfortable beds and lots of pillows! Laundry available, and good restaurant on site including breakfast. Is across the road from the Train station-so easily accessible for travellers. Has upstairs and downstairs rooms- so okay if stairs are a problem.

Excellent motor inn. Close to town, and easy access to main roads. It was very comfortable, and rooms were arranged around the pool area, with plenty of lawn. Very comfortable, and we would definitely stay there again, if every we were in the area

Excellent motel with friendly management. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had two separate stays during the week- one in an older room and one in a refurbished room. Both were great. Very quiet and a bonus is the free shuttle to and from the airport. Would recommend highly

The motor inn was fine, and on par with what you would expect from a country motor inn. We didn't feel that it was very good value for money however and they have a bit of captured market with not many other options in Longreach. Being low season the $174 we paid (apparently on special!) was about $40-50 too much. The room was basic, not done up and clean. The aircon worked but not super efficiently when dealing with 40 degree heat. The pool was a winner at this time of year. There was no housekeeping for our 2 night stay. The room had crockery with a kettle, toaster and microwave which is handy for breakfast. As well as a small fridge. The motor inn was right opposite station which was handy as we were departing by train. Would consider other options if I stayed in Longreach again. This motor inn is currently renovating so for a renovated room the price we paid might be acceptable.
