Stayed here for 2 nights in October 24 whilst exploring the local area. We stayed in the garden room which is in a renovated cottage adjacent to the main building. The room was perfectly suited to our needs. A very spacious bedroom and bathroom which were comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was the small thoughtful touches that set it apart from other bnbs. Breakfast was delicious and Paul made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Delightful B&B in a perfect location! Great host in Paul, didn’t meet Clare. Well thought out and comfortable accommodation with fabulous bath. Good size so not bumping into each other. Breakfast excellent and nothing seemed too much trouble. Definitely recommend

Stylish and super comfy, with fabulous and freshly cooked breakfasts! Despite having eaten more breakfasts than I care to remember - these are the best, as they are freshly cooked to order with very tasty ingredients. Highly recommend the lovely Melford Room, where we have stayed twice. If you want a place that's quiet and intimate and just for adults, with super hospitality when you want it, then this is it. Perfectly located for walking to the pubs/restaurants/shops of Long Melford - of which there is loads of choice. Ideal place and area for a short break, or a week's holiday. Paul is super-helpful and welcoming, and a brilliant breakfast chef!

The room was very clean with a to die for bath very well presented and looked after . Lots of little details made the stay very worthwhile the views ,the ducks and the mini fridge with cold water and fresh milk .Breakfast in the morning was very good as well the book of phots of the history of the mill was fantastic as well .

From the first moment we met Paul we knew from the warmth of his welcome it was going to be a wonderful stay and it lived up to all expectations. Both rooms are immaculate and stylish with everything you need for your stay. The breakfast was incredible so much choice and good portions, can't wait to stay again. We also went for a lovely meal at the Black Lion 5 minutes walk away.

The Mill is a little bit of TLC and luxury rolled into one. The decor is gorgeous, both rooms are really comfortable, the garden is a delight and you can look forward to a warm welcome. Brilliantly situated to explore Melford and the beautiful surrounding Suffolk countryside, it just cannot be beaten. And neither can Paul's delicious breakfasts! This was our 3rd visit and we love it even more!

Perfect, no other word to describe this absolute gem. We had tried to book The Mill on a few occasions and this time we was lucky. Beautiful cottage style room, with our own personal Garden.really clean and all your needs provided. Paul and Clare were great hosts and the breakfast cooked by Paul, plentiful and wonderful. My wife tried the pancakes and absolutely loved them! You want to visit Long Melford, add this to your trip and it will be the icing on the cake!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Mill for a 2 night break in the Garden Room. The room was very clean with a great bathroom which included a fabulous walk-in shower. Paul made us feel very welcome and served a superb breakfast which we were able to eat in our own private garden. He also provided us with recommendations to local pub/restaurants which were all walkable. We will certainly return for another visit.
