The room is quite good in London. It is very close to the visa center. It is highly recommended for Schengen visa application. The only drawback is that there is no elevator. Don't choose this option if you have heavy luggage.

They've thought of everything from the lovely teas and coffee with small bottle of proper fridge in the fridge, homemade gf vegan shortbread, well stocked fridge, lovely glasses, extremely comfortable bed and friendly and efficient staff - what more could we have asked for?? Great quality and value for money!

Okay but could have been great.
Place was really clean and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Guy at check in was a bit unhelpful asked for the card that had made booking with but that card had changed from visa to mastercard by the bank. Showed my replacement card on my phone and was told not good enough as I might have stolen the phone! How a phone is any more stealable than a card I'm not sure but at any rate I'd already told the guy the name on the booking- that would have been some guess! Was then told I couldn't pay using apple pay. Feel like if this is correct then that info could have been a bit better explained at the time of booking. Luckily mate had a card but left me in a bit of an awkward position.
other than that the place is nice.
Clean, well presented, my room on a main rd and so not able to open window and got very hot in the night.
But reasonable price for what it was. Pub downstairs was nice. Close to tube station.

Great value!
We picked Spread Eagle based on reviews and because it was a short taxi ride to Wimbledon. The hotel was cute, and the decor gave the rooms a cool boutique hotel vibe. The hotel and restaurant staff were outstanding! They were always friendly and accommodating. There were a few minor issues with the the room/amenities that we didn't think were worth addressing given our short stay; plus, they didn't substantively detract from the overall excellent experience. This place is ideal if you want an updated, clean, nicely-sized room, with a cool vibe outside of central London. Definitely take advantage of the delicious breakfast or enjoy a pint with your fish and chips at the Spread Eagle Pub next door.

Perfection
Absolutely adored this hotel! Beautiful decor, full clean each day, gorgeous toiletries. They had everything we needed: iron, kettle, tea selection, coffee machine, bottle of water. The bathroom was lovely, the shower pressure was good. The bed was really comfy, the room was spacious and there was good storage space too. A lovely dressing table to do makeup at too. Genuinely cannot fault this hotel at all and I have already recommended it to my family and friends! The food in the pub was lovely too!
