We traveled to London as a family of 4, including 2 children. We stayed for a total of 8 nights and 9 days. The accommodation itself felt quite old, but apart from that, it was reasonably(?) clean.
The biggest advantages were that we could use the kitchen, that there was a washing machine, and that there was a microwave.
Also, the Earl's Court subway station was right in front, so it was very convenient to get to the city center. Earl's Court station is where 2 subway stations intersect, so I recommend finding a place to stay near there.
