The hotel is small, with a good location, very good hygiene, average service, and the price is the price of a local luxury hotel, about 6,000 per night. Ego ahead of service,. Maybe too many males. Complaint about the quality of the wine shrugged off. Obviously suffers from popularity overload. But come on, it is possible to be attentive as well as cool. Most of the bar staff were very attentive.

Went for Christmas lunch at £150 per head and was expecting alot better. Starter (soup) very nice. Main (beef) had to be sent back as it was cold. Beef tasteless. Sweet (xmas pud) served on cold plates. Had much better for alot less. Basic school boy errors.

Staying at Charlotte Street is a home away from home, as a Firmdale property the style and amenities are top notch and the staff is excellent. 10 out of 10 as always.

Whenever I’m in London, this is where I stay. Excellent hotel. Bustling restaurant and hotel lobby but once in your room it’s silent. Amazing acoustics in terms of noise. Super cozy and great breakfast. Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful stay, the location was great, the staff were friendly and the food was fresh, the only downside was that the room seemed a little dated and could use a refresh, other than that our visit was fantastic, I would definitely stay again on my next visit to london.
