Holiday Inn Express LONDON - LIMEHOUSE by IHG

The shampoo and body wash provided in the room are the biggest letdown. The body wash and hand soap are a 2-in-1, which always leaves you feeling not quite clean. The shampoo makes your hair dry and tangled, and there's no conditioner available. Plus, compared to other Holiday Inns, they don't even use Dove products. The breakfast and other facilities are decent, but the shampoo really affected my entire day's experience.

Close to the DLR and with multiple bus routes to the tourist areas, the surrounding environment also has its highlights, especially being right by the River Thames. It would be even better if there were more breakfast options 🙂

This was the first hotel for our family's UK trip. After much deliberation, we chose this Holiday Inn Express which is quite close to the city center. The location is excellent, with easy access to the subway, buses, and trains. The hotel maintained the consistent quality of the Holiday Inn brand. We were also lucky enough to snag a group deal that included parking and some meals. A special thank you goes to Christina, a kind and patient lady who speaks Chinese. Due to the high demand for rooms on the weekend and our first-time use of a Ctrip hotel group coupon, the check-in process was a bit convoluted, but the final outcome was very satisfying. Our family left London happily to begin the next leg of our journey. BTW, we encountered many odd Indian guests; whether it was in the cramped elevator or at the popular breakfast buffet, they all exuded a strange confidence, as if they owned the place. I wonder who gave them that idea 🤔🤔🤔

Considering it's London, this place offers good value for money. It's about a 10-minute walk to the nearest tube station. Breakfast is standard English fare, though I'd honestly love some wontons from back home!

The room size is pretty good for London. It's also very close to the tube station, and you can get to the British Museum in about half an hour. Plus, it's near Tower Bridge, and the breakfast is decent – they even have cucumbers, haha!

The room isn't huge, but it's clean and well-equipped. The staff are friendly, and the location is super convenient for transport. Especially the transport! This hotel is only about 400 meters from the tube station and 100-200 meters from a bus stop. London's tube and bus systems are excellent, getting you to almost all the main attractions easily.

Fantastic hotel! It's really close to Big Ben and London Bridge. After a good night's sleep, I enjoyed a plentiful breakfast that kept me full all day. Great value for money!
