We have stayed at Grinkle Park a number of occasions and booked under the deal of DB&B for 2 nights in a deluxe room with complimentary fizz. The positives: The staff are super friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Room was very clean and comfortable. The negatives. Though our room was spotless, we were given Jenny Bradley and I would argue that this was a double room rather than a deluxe. The bathroom was absolutely freezing and would definitely benefit from secondary glazing. The bedroom itself could also benefit from some secondary glazing, it was rather cool at times. Also another minor gripe but the only luxuries we had in the room were bottled water and the supply of tea and coffee. No slippers, fruit or dressing gowns. Are these not supplied any more? Also there is a rather disappointing lack of choice for vegetarian dishes for breakfast or evening meal. Most hotels have a simple vegetarian cooker breakfast, I’m surprised this is not an option. We had a pleasant stay but I really don’t think the room was deluxe.

The hotel is beautiful, staff all very friendly and welcoming. Food is top class, best terrine I've ever eaten. Plenty of lovely touches,linen tablecloths and napkins always impress, particularly loved the fresh flower arrangements all over. Biggest snooker table I've ever seen. Will definitely be back.

Lovely stay, good food, very quiet, pleasant staff, rooms ok, lack of electric chargers for cars is a pain as quite out on a limb so make sure charged up before arriving! Everything about the place is very relaxed, lovely open fire in sitting room and lovely triple sandwiches

Warm and comfortable room. Nice cream team on arrival and the staff were welcoming. Large snooker table, open fire and lovely gardens with pheasants roaming freely. Evening meal was pleasant and a good cooked breakfast with a variety of choices.

Our second visit for a two night stay dinner b&b and complimentary cream tea. Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Spacious bedroom and bathroom and comfy bed! Friendly staff and nice food. Good location for visiting the north Yorkshire coast and moors. We will definitely return.

The quality of the customer service alongside the value for money is exceptional. That's why we keep returning! My only suggestion is a grab rail on the wall to enable the shower to be accessed more easily; particularly for the elderly. Alongside the grab rail it would be helpful to have a non-slip bath mat available to avoid needing to remember to ask for one at reception. Very much looking forward to seeing you all again later in the year.

The staff made us feel special, nothing was too much. They made us feel at home from start to finish. Thank you sooo much, the attention to detail to make our special day feel special was second to none, and a special thank you to Ollie and Vicky, who arranged our room for our overnight stay. The food was gorgeous, a good quality meats and a good range of choices and desserts.Thabk you again, we ll be back .
