Well worth the travel. Submarine Garden Resort has it all for peace & nature lovers: the beach, proximity to great corals and marine life, mangroves, lush trees that attract birds. One of the cleanest beaches we’ve seen in awhile and very non-fuss. While food choices were limited, they were well-cooked and delicious. They serve very good barako coffee and tsokolate. Some early evenings, you get to watch fishermen catching dulong. And yes, try out their fresh dulong in olive oil if available. Best of all, staff are wonderful and kind. Even our dog had a transcendent experience. Looking forward to our next visit.
