From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who made us feel like VIPs throughout our entire stay. Their recommendations for local activities and dining were spot on, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the exquisite dining experience. The restaurant at Can Simoneta serves up culinary delights that are both innovative and mouthwatering. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that perfectly complemented the serene surroundings. A wonderful oasis of great facilities, service and relaxation. Couldn't fault it. Spacious and intimate at the same time. Set in trees on different levels with easy access to town and beaches if required. The buffet at breakfast and dinner was also excellent. For information, the resort and hotel was almost exclusively German travellers which we found a real travel bonus even as we seemed to be the only English speakers in the town, beach and hotel; others may prefer a more cosmopolitan mixture of guests.

I booked the Senator in Cala Millor for a 6 night break for myself to chill out and relax. I knew the area and the fact that the hotel is right in the middle of restaurants, shops and bars and 10 yards from the beach and so this made it a perfect location. I loved the room design and the lovely walk in shower. Vegan toiletries are provided so no need to take any with you. There’s also a hairdryer and, best of all, a fridge in the room along with tea and coffee making facilities. There’s a large tv but I struggled to find any English channels. Small criticism was the lack of plug sockets next to the bed to plug my phone in overnight. These were on the other side of the room. I also had no outside balcony or view but that was fine. The bed was amazingly comfortable and, although the hotel was quite full it was very quiet. I loved the rooftop pool which was perfect for cooling down in. At only 90cm deep it’s not really for swimming in. The hotel had a fair few books available in the lobby which was great for me as I read a lot on holiday. The only downside with the hotel was the lack of food available. They did a limited continental breakfast in the ground floor restaurant from 8-10.30 but there was no lunch or evening food and nothing available from the poolside bar either. Whether this was coming later in the season I don’t know. I believe the hotel is adults only too which I hadn’t realised when booking but which probably helped with the peace and quiet. The hotel appeared to have mainly German customers in the 6 days I was there. The rooms were cleaned every day and the whole place was very clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly too.

Staff were absolutely lovely, the food was the best we had in any hotel we’ve been in Spain , the pool was lovely and big with plenty of space around the sunbeds , the room was spotless cleaned everyday and really modern. Would definitely recommend this hotel. 5 star.

This little hotel is a real gem - situated in a rural area, between olive trees, vineyards and fields, the former finca offers rooms and wonderful pool-villas. The villas are of a very good size, in a tasteful design and offer a terrace with view to an unspoilt landscape and offer a pool from the size, that you can swim a little bit. It`s quiet and peaceful. You can hear the birds and the sheep-bells in the distance. Special thanks to Evgeni. For us he is the good soul of the hotel for some years now. He is always there when you need assistance or for a little chat . Only the restaurant felt a little bit down this year. On a balmy evening they refused us to sit outside. We quickly decided to go to our italian restaurant in Cala Rajada (there you can always sit outside, even on a stormy March-evening). Suddenly we were allowed to sit on the terrace. Other guests joined us. We were treated a little bit cold for our non-complying behaviour on this evening. Normally I would reduce one point for such an incident. But this hotel is so lovely, I don`t do it.
