Decided to try Mallorca for a 10 day break so opted for this hotel, the only reservation I had was the only room type on offer from Jet2 was an Economy Double Room, I should not have worried. The room was clean, faily spacious and had a good view of Cala Millor Beach and the sea ( see photo attached ). Throughout the hotel everything was spotless and the staff walked round with a friendly smile on thier faces. Food was good but at busy times the restaurant could be bit of an obstacle course as service was Buffet only. Wine was not the best on the All Inclusive Package but there were other options and this could possibly be down to my taste. Entertainment on an evening was good and varied and as it happened we were there during the week long Festival of Tourism (49th year) and this was an added bonus. Overall enjoyed the holiday but just have one comment on the room, there was plenty of wardrobe space but the room itself lacked any drawers for me to keep my medication but just a minor irritant.

A very nice hotel, one of the best we have stopped at. With a lovely pool area and a couple tennis courts. The only problem is the resort of Cala Millor isn't very attractive but if you want nice place to stay onsite then this hotel ticks all the boxes

Pros - > Modern. > Very clean. > Professional & friendly staff. > Lovely size rooms with a good view of the pool/sea. > Water machines all around the hotel where you can fill up your water bottle. I loved this as I always hate the plastic water bottle waste when you're outside the UK. You get a water jug in your room to refill. > Quality of drinks is good - I’ve stayed in some all inclusives where the drinks are awful, this was not the case here! The cocktails were really nice. > On the beach - would recommend the walk to the castle. > Entertainment at night is relaxed with good quality singers. If this is your thing you’ll like it, if you want something more wild, you may be bored. It suited us fine as we wanted a chilled holiday. Cons - > Glasses & crockery often not the cleanest at breakfast, lunch & dinner. > The amount of sun that the sunbeds get is limited - they don’t really get sun until the afternoon. > Food was very nice quality but a little repetitive at lunch & dinner if you’re all inclusive. I wish the pizza/pasta/chips section was removed at dinner for something more interesting, however I get that some people are fussy eaters so might love that there’s always this food available. > You’re given a window of time where you have to go for breakfast, lunch & dinner. This is flexible but a bit restricting at times. > Pillows and towels a bit thin and mattress harder than I would like. > Walls are quite thin so you hear neighbours fairly easily. Suggestion - install soft close doors. Overall, a nice hotel which I would recommend if you want a quiet relaxed holiday, taking into account the above cons, just needs some small improvements to make it perfect.

My wife and I had an opportunity to take a holiday alone and chose Son Penya based on the location, architecture of the property and privacy afforded by the ‘private villas’ which make up about 50% of the 20 rooms at this beautifully presented property. Highs of our stay: -Size, quality of furnishings, privacy and views from our ‘private villa’ (room no. 17) -The immaculate public areas including the gardens -Friendly and professional staff both in the restaurant, reception and around the hotel in general. In particular, a big ‘thank you’ to Roberto, Sonia and Barbara for their attentiveness during our stay and willingness to listen to and help me as I learn to speak Spanish. -Quality and value of food at breakfast and dinner with a good choice on the menu as well as some ‘specials’ each evening. -The spa and pool. A wide range of treatments available and reasonably priced Could be better- -The consistency of the dishes at dinner. I had the same dish twice during our stay and the presentation/flavour was far better the first time I ate it. Overall, a highly relaxing and enjoyable stay in a beautifully rural and unspoilt part of Mallorca. I’d recommend having a car should you wish to explore beyond the immediate area and taking one of the larger ‘private villas’, with their own pools if you are seeking complete privacy. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Real wow factor of the room with marina view and a huge balcony. 5 star accommodation and service. You can actually watch the yachts docking in, all day long. Peaceful harbour with no waves but lots of amazing vistas. Sports facilities and pool and lifts and library and restaurant with 24/7 reception. Next door to the most of amenities. Top attractions like Caves of Drach and parks are 2 minutes walk. Small community that is a real gem. Unspoilt Mallorca at it's best. Loved the experience. Must come back. Place is really busy after April, but we loved the tranquility of March.

Have done 2 weeks of Junior Tennis Camp. One without and one while staying at the Academy… Tennis: There really isn’t much training. They just let the kids play, and play, and play… On the last day there is a ceremony where everyone gets a participation trophy. Fun fact: in both weeks we were there, it was always the biggest cheater in the whole team who received the sportsmanship award. One driver of this is that the “coaches” didn’t watch what was happening on the courts. Even on the final competition day… Key “value” taught: “Cheat as much as you can…” Organisation: They have an app that rarely works. Forget the schedule on the app. It constantly changes and you will never know where your kid is or is supposed to be… Yiu get access cards for the Academy that only work 50% of the time. Other: - We had some heavy rain upon which everything broke down for the rest of our stay. No spa, no pool, building materially flooded. Zero compensation. - You will virtually never get towels for the gym (or the pool, IF it’s open). Need to bring your own, but not from your room as that’s not allowed… - Around 2/3 of water stations don’t work - On the last day the kids have a ceremony, BBQ and festives. The parents, aka folks who paid for everything, don’t get anything - they can watch with no food and not even a glass of water. Awesome way to end the experience in a memorable way - You get free access to the Rafael Badal Museum - except you never get access because it’s always booked out Bottom line: Mass factory, highly commercialised, you are just a number.

JJo PThe hotel and its grounds are absolutely stunning. Sadly, as I can see from other reviews, the restaurant menu and the quality of good in the evenings let it down. That said the breakfast was outstanding and couldn’t be better. The menu in the evenings was limited and sadly uninspiring. Sadly when the food arrived, which took a long time, the quality and flavour was not what we expected. If the restaurant offering was improved ( as the setting and ambience was stunning) we would definitely return but otherwise wouldn’t. We are more than happy to pay for excellent food but I’m afraid it did not deliver Another small suggestion would be to review the toiletries in the room - the body lotion smelt terrible and the shampoo wouldn’t lather Arrival - like other guests have commented we arrived to a dusty deserted carpark but no idea how to get to the main hotel with our luggage. We flagged down a member of staff who pointed out an intercom but then we’re stood for circa 10 minutes waiting for a van to cone and collect us - for a luxury hotel there should be a much better experience on arrival Finally we have never had a request for feedback from the hotel either on checkout or after returning home. I think they could gain valuable insight if the proactively requested feedback so they have the chance to act on this All that said, the hotel, the decor, the ambience was stunning - so much potential if the common areas of feedback are addressed p
Sseabag1A wonderful boutique hotel in a beautiful historic town. A major booking site rates it as #2 although on the day it scored higher than the one in top spot. The roads are narrow so if you come by car, park in the nearby free carpark and obtain the key code in advance. I recommend contacting the hotel direct to ensure the the best room for your needs. We had one of the suites (room 1) with a patio in the peaceful garden. There is another suite on the first floor with a large private balcony. Do your research because some of the rooms in all of the hotels will experience a little road noise. Our room was incredibly spacious and very peaceful. Air conditioning was quiet and effective. The twin beds are very comfortable and when placed together form a super, super king! This is a hands off hotel but someone is always available by phone. If you are high maintenance, it may not be for you. There is an honour bar and large fridge (very reasonable prices) plus tea and coffee machine. I found this better than a fridge in the room because they can be noisy. The staff are so caring and helpful. The continental breakfast is very extensive plus you only have to ask for a cooked breakfast if required. We've had the most enjoyable stay. Thank you.
Steve V Preston, UK35 contributions 1st Class Hotel and Location. Sept 2024 • Couples After a smooth Airport Transfer we enjoyed 2 weeks at the Hipotels Mediterraneo in Sa Coma and what an amazing hotel it is. Though large it is never crowded or congested, it is spacious and beautiful both inside and out. Every credit to the interior designers. The rooms were excellent with beautiful views over the sea and coastline from the balcony. The meals covered everyone's taste, there was variety but with quality, and in great quantity, not the location to go on a diet. There is a variety of entertainment on most evenings, but my favourite was the pianist Paolo Corzani who played in the lounge on Gala Night. He is good enough to play in any Concert Hall and certainly much better than the average hotel pianist. Like everything else about the hotel, the standard was very high. So overall, a superb hotel in every way and a beautiful location. A special thanks to Carmen for her kind services in making the reservation. In fact all the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
GGuest UserBeautiful stay right in the heart of Porto Christo - a small lively town that we loved! Lots of beautiful nearby coves to explore and wonderful cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself was beautiful and perfectly clean with lovely air conditioned rooms and new bathroom facilities. Francisca was so helpful and friendly! Would definitely stay again.
we found Porto Cristo while on holiday in another resort earlier in the year and just had to book a stay in this wonderful place , and the only hotel we wanted to stay was The Felipe ! Sitting above the beach/harbour with views to heal the soul .We had a top floor room with all amenities , but the balcony is where we spent our time whenever we were in the room . The hotel was everything we hoped it would be with excellent personal service and excellent food served in the sea facing restaurant and veranda. The reception staff were very friendly and informative and all the staff we met were very polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Felipe was kept very clean in all the areas used and the restaurant was spotless with a varied menu each night and the tables were cleared swiftly when people finished . We were only there for a long weekend and arrived early but ere able to leave our cases in reception and were told where to park the hire car up the road for free and from that moment on we had the best weekend. We had to check out at 12 on the last day but werent flying until later so they said we could leave the bags and use the spa showers later to freshen up before we departed . I cant recommend this hotel highly enough and we will 100% be returning to this wonderful place in beautiful Porto Cristo
GGuest UserBest holiday in a long time We enjoyed this hotel and holiday so much; we extended it by a few more days! We couldn’t have been happier with everything about Guya Playa. It’s perfect for families for so many reasons. This is not your typical high rise hotel, but small apartments with a lovely vibe. We chose to upgrade to a sea view and was worth every penny - especially if you have kids asleep early and you’re not stuck staring at the car park with your evening beer. The food here was simply exceptional. There is a different theme every evening but still get regular food in addition to. The standard of dishes and ingredients is second to non. As the only vegan in the family, it’s always a bit worrying and limiting. Not the case here. There were vegan options every evening; the chef not over complicating. Cooked amazing dishes such as ratatouille, vegan curries, salads, garlic mushrooms, various vegetables with garlic….I could go on and on. Breakfast time they also had different plant based milks to choose from; almond, soya and oat. The staff were very friendly and did everything to help us with any issues and were lovely with our young children. They even let us get a breakfast when checking out early in the morning before flying home. There are the pools ideal for children also. They don’t look too big on the photos but are more than adequate, and really safe. Always a lifeguard on duty. Beach nearby gets very crowded and is best to go early morning; sun beds are €16 for 2 and an umbrella. If you came brave the crows head towards the other end of the beach away from the hotels and it gets quieter and more beautiful. Anybody feeling particularly brave; the mountain with a tower on top that you can see from the pool is accessible. After a few unsuccessful attempts; the lady on reception told me the route for a morning jog. If you follow the red markings up the mountain, it leads to the summit. Bear in mind it’s rocky and a little challenging in some areas. Predominantly German resort but lots of different nationalities within the hotel. If anybody is wanting to watch English premier league games when there…be aware, bars aren’t particularly accommodating to requests for games - only Bundesliga. Shout out to who was happy to show any premier league game on request and has a beautiful bar/restaurant down on the front in Cala Radjada. Notes for improvements. Rooms could have a brush so that you can sweep up after a meal and messy kids - rather than waiting for the cleaner the next day. The wrist bands are a bit of a nightmare aswell. No plastic and wooden contraptions around your wrist; fantastic for the environment. However, they keep faltering (I assume when the wood gets wet from the pool). We went through 8 bands in total during the holiday. Also Cala Radjada is far away from Palma. This adds to the beauty and vibe, but we paid for a private taxi from the airport; which still takes an hour. If you have young kids
GGuest UserI booked the Senator in Cala Millor for a 6 night break for myself to chill out and relax. I knew the area and the fact that the hotel is right in the middle of restaurants, shops and bars and 10 yards from the beach and so this made it a perfect location. I loved the room design and the lovely walk in shower. Vegan toiletries are provided so no need to take any with you. There’s also a hairdryer and, best of all, a fridge in the room along with tea and coffee making facilities. There’s a large tv but I struggled to find any English channels. Small criticism was the lack of plug sockets next to the bed to plug my phone in overnight. These were on the other side of the room. I also had no outside balcony or view but that was fine. The bed was amazingly comfortable and, although the hotel was quite full it was very quiet. I loved the rooftop pool which was perfect for cooling down in. At only 90cm deep it’s not really for swimming in. The hotel had a fair few books available in the lobby which was great for me as I read a lot on holiday. The only downside with the hotel was the lack of food available. They did a limited continental breakfast in the ground floor restaurant from 8-10.30 but there was no lunch or evening food and nothing available from the poolside bar either. Whether this was coming later in the season I don’t know. I believe the hotel is adults only too which I hadn’t realised when booking but which probably helped with the peace and quiet. The hotel appeared to have mainly German customers in the 6 days I was there. The rooms were cleaned every day and the whole place was very clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly too.
GGuest UserWe were at the hotel Amoros in Cala Ratjada for 1 week. I was there several times in the spring in previous years as a guest. I had booked EZ with HP. Now my partner could have been able to check in spontaneously without any problems. You note that it is held familiar and heartily. It has 3 stars ⭐️ and everyone deserves. We need and do not want anymore. The rooms are clean and large enough. A refrigerator is inside, a safe can be booked at the reception. The bar always has something to drink 😏. At the reception there is always someone who can help one (very good German). At the dinner there is always something for everyone. If we go back to the corner of Mallorca, then go back there. Thanks 🙏
Comfy beds, clean rooms. Lovely wellstocked food every day, 3 times a day. Good atmosphere. Great staff who work hard. Great service all round. I would definitely come back again. No complaints . The bathroom was a little small but for the time that I used it then it really isn't a problem.
