Once again a very warm welcome at reception on our arrival. Quickly booked in and allocated a Plus Room as requested, with a view up Mostyn Street. Room very clean and inviting. All of the staff are very approachable, friendly and efficient in their multi-tasking roles - nothing ever seems to be any trouble for them. Not naming individuals, but the staff know who we are and how very much we appreciate them always going that extra mile to make our (and everyone elses) stay special.

From walking to leaving 4 days later the staff were brilliant, couldn't do more to please, excellent variety of choices for breakfast, along with the evening meal, all well cooked & portioned well, then again we enjoy our holidays were ever we go, if you feel the need to moan about everything you may as well stay at home, a big thank you to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable

We just had an overnight stay but everything went swimmingly. Smooth, friendly chech in; lovely room with good space, two comfy arm chairs and a good view, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Parking was easy. Nice restaurant with good choice of menu. Chef clearly respects his vegetables. Exceeded expectations.

On arrival the receptionist was very helpful, Room was clean , beds comfortable ,we found the room very warm and was unable to open the window room 311, not a very view from this room. Hotel was full so unable to get another room . We had evening meal in the restaurant .food was excellent, and our waiter was very helpful. We had breakfast the following morning, but found that the bacon and black pudding was overdone as was the fried egg. But we should of waited for the Fresh cooked food to come out of the kitchen. Idid mention this to the waitress. Breakfast was the only downside to our stay

The location is at a crossroad and it is still a bit far away from the seaside on foot. There is a large free parking lot. The accommodation is a separate entrance behind the bar. I like the design of the spiral staircase very British style. The room is exquisite and comfortable with an old small fan. The restaurant downstairs was fully booked. They arranged for us to sit in the corner of the bar for dinner. The products were very good. I personally prefer the decoration and atmosphere of the bar. It was a very pleasant night! The breakfast on the second day is half a la carte, that is, the cold cuts are self-service and the a la carte hot food is still exquisite and deliciousπ... Overall very good, especially recommended to friends who want to experience a bar-type hotel!

We had a 2 night stay during the Victorian Extravaganza weekend. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel like valued guests. The staff throughout the hotel were so friendly and efficient. The telephone conversations during the booking process with different members of staff were so helpful and we knew from the outset this hotel really wants to impress. The spacious hotel feels brand new. The ambience is lovely. The second floor sea view classic room was not large but well appointed and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with an over bath shower. The afternoon tea was delicious. The breakfast was truly outstanding in terms of choice and quality of ingredients . The cooked breakfast was exceptional including superb cooked to order pancakes. Excellent coffee. The hotel values children. They loved the hotel and cannot wait to return. On street free parking. This is an absolute gem of a hotel. It is dog friendly but extremely clean and dogs do not use the restaurant. Unbelievable value for this quality. Highly recommended.

Quite an old building with squeaky floorboards and outdated decor. However, the location is spot on, just on the beach. The staff are very nice and friendly, dinner menu differs each day but a wide variety available. Offers great value for money in my opinion.
Excellent for personal short stays I'll highly recommend. But won't recommend for getaways/group events.

The hotel is not far from the beach, although it is not directly facing the beach, but you can still see the hotel facilities. Although it is a bit old, it is still clean. The room has free costa coffee capsules. Milk and mineral water in the refrigerator are free 15 pounds per person. The breakfast is also very good with a sea view The price-performance ratio of this hotel is still very recommended. There are many restaurants when you go out. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the small train on Mount Ohm

Outstanding
My friend and I have just returned from our second of two visits per year to Llandudno and weβd rather change our dates than stay anywhere other than Beachside. Cheryl and David the owners are a lovely approachable couple who will do everything they can to ensure your stay is a happy one. The rooms and en suites are spotless, thereβs telly, free Wi-Fi a kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc in the rooms and if you run out thereβs more on the landing. Thereβs a wide choice of breakfast options including toast, cereals, yogurts, fruit, fruit juices and their cooked breakfast has plenty of choice and will definitely set you up for the day. If youβre going to Llandudno try Beachside Guest House first because as the couple I met on the landing on Wednesday told me βitβs our first time here and we will definitely be coming backβ this was my twelfth visit and I wonβt be going anywhere else either.
The warmest of welcomes to this home from home guest house. The team were always pleasant and happy to help. They even provided some prosecco for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Breakfasts were excellent, a good choice of different foods, more toast and coffee as required. Good selection of teas, coffer and hot chocolate on the tray in the room.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The first thing that hit me when I walked into our room was how clean and fresh it smelt. A much more modern feel to the rooms rather than other Llandudno hotels which are still outdated. There was plenty to choose from on the breakfast menu and it was served hot with ample tea/coffee and toast. All round a very pleasant stay. Will be booking again.
Amazing experience and very friendly and accommodating staff, very pleasant and small but well stocked bar very homely feeling will be going back. Breakfast was really good sausage was really nice and fast service all brought to your table.
Booked direct the day before we went, by doing so we got 2 free drinks from the bar, good incentive which we didnt have prior knowledge of. Also got earlier check in. No lift so requested lower floor. Room 109, very clean, great shower, really comfy bed, perfectly adequate for short stay. Friendly staff. Very nice breakfast, everything you would expect except no-one told us there was a table round the corner with juice, cereal and jams, only realised when we saw someone getting something! Would definitely stay here again.
DON'T stay in room 24!! Despite offering a sea view, the room is tiny, and the bathroom is ridiculously small - you can barely shut the door if you are sat on the loo, let alone reach for toilet paper!! The bed is uncomfortable - the mattress is lumpy due to being over used. The bed and the floor of the room slopes and squeaks. Furthermore, the noise coming from neighbouring rooms is horrendously hard to bare if you stay in Room 24. You can hear the showers being run, the toilets being flushed, and the bath taps running throughout the night and early in the morning. In addition, the bed in Room 24 and the floor boards moves if your neighbors in room 23 walks or moves... It was awful staying here!! The breakfast was not especially good either. There was a limited choice of Kellogg's cereal. Tinned peaches or prunes. Limited selection of yoghurt, a few slices of cheese and cold meats, and croissants. The hot breakfast was just 2 slices of bacon, 1 sausage, a spoonful of beans, 1 poached egg ( 2 if you are lucky), 1 hash brown, and 1 triangular fried bread if you like that sort of thing. The staff were not very hospitable or friendly at all. We won't be coming back to this hotel again. One good thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the Great Orme and the beach.
Visited in school hols with partner, 2 teenagers and parents. Hotel is in a great location, minutes from the front, pier and bars/restaurants. Inside is dated but comfortable, we were on the top floor, our room had great views of the orme, and parents had partial sea views. Breakfast is very nice and has multiple options, full english, pick your choices, juice, cereal, muffins, jam etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice.
Just got back from a stay here 28th-31st May. I stayed with my 10 year old daughter. On travelling to Llandudno we were majorly delayed due to the train, we let the hotel know who said not to worry! On arrival we were greeted warmly, shown to our lovely room(Room 9 sea view) and everybody was so kind and welcoming. We didn't book breakfast as my daughter is very fussy with food and will only eat certain things although I would of loved to of tried it. Amazing location literally 2/3 minutes to the pier! Room was absolutely spotless could not fault anything, beds super comfy, little chairs by window which I'd sit on and watch the sea view with my morning coffee. Really enjoyed our stay here, felt at ease and relaxed and will 100% be going back here on our next trip to Llandudno.
Where do you begin. Hastily booked based on the Tripadvisor top review and the hotel pictures of a spa. When read all the reviews it became apparent all was not as it seemed. We were booking using a Buy a gift voucher for 2 nights for 2 Hotel Break. The voucher itself is a bit of a rip off as it really is just a money off voucher. Out of over 4000 English hotels on the Buyagift list (which you only find out after you have bought voucher) only 100 came anywhere near the price.. We ended up paying an additional Β£34.on top of the voucher price. Only good thing about there vouchers is thay can be changed for other things. Anyway my wife packed our swimming gear, pillow cases and sheets. So we kept the bar low with the hope it wouldnt be as bad as other reviews. In short the other poor reviews are fairly accurate although its what you make of a tired run down hotel that has seen better days . The outside of the building is struggling with slates missing and gutter hanging off, concrete spalling above some windows (huge expense to put scaffold around.) Some reviews complain of it being smelly when you walk in but that wasnt that apparent. The reception is dated with a notice comparing the cost of other Llandudno hotels. Took the lift that isnt level with the ground floor..not really a problem.. 2nd floor side room decent view of the Orme through a couple of windows the other was dirty and couldnt see through. One window held closed by a piece of bent wire, a danger hazard for kids standing on the window board. Toilet cistern was new but six inches from wall so loo rocked, bath sealant poor mouldy condition, a spa bath had jets missing. Wall paper on ceiling was bubbled from i guess was a roof leak .Sink had big crack badly siliconed over..Duvets and pillows obviously seen better days but did look clean. The two way switch for main bedroom light was behind the pillow. With lights out and just table lamp on the ambience was slight improvement. The stair nearly proved my undoing and it was only a piece of metal handrail that had been added above the original that I managed to hook my arm under preventing me from falling down a flight. Ok my fault. Staff were ok but got the impression they were on a damage limitation exercise. Breakfast was ok self service juices, cereals (didnt see fruit options) toast and hot drinks (the coffee was not brilliant ) Staff friendly and served us cooked breakfast quickly but were equally quick to to take finished plates before we had all finished. Breakfast was in a large school type dining room with dated decor. We popped in to see the entertainment on the Friday and Saturday evening in the basement ball room, that was ok if its your thing..Two coach trips were in mainly elderly..Checked ourselves out as no receptionist so added room number to a handwritten list on reception that actually seemed to be a list of issues βno hot waterβ in one room. The spa...waiting on staff were hesitant and one said they didnt know whe
