We stayed at the Memmo Alfama from 10/21 until 10/23. Memmo Alfama arranged to have us picked up at the airport. Our driver, Aida, was fantastic and the stay just kept getting better. The rooms were very comfortable, and the staff is excellent. Our room looked over Rio Tejo, and the view is spectacular. The Terrace is a great place to relax and to have breakfast in the morning or a drink in the afternoon or evening. The Terrace also looks over the river and the views are great. The hotel, its staff, the breakfasts, and the evenings on the Terrace all exceeded our expectations.

Sehr schönes Hotel in exzellenter Lage mit fantastischem Blick auf Alfama und Tejo, mittendrin und dennoch ruhig. Der Sundowner auf der Terrasse muss unbedingt sein! Dienstags gibt es einen Fado-Abend in der Lounge. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

This is such a charming hotel! My friend and I loved it! Make sure to pay a little extra for the alfama room with a view! It’s worth it! They had live music on Thursday night and the details are just so amazing. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here! It’s also really close to the 28E tram, which is also so cute and fun! The only issue we had is the bathroom doors are all glass and both my friend and I walked into them at least once. Nothing major, just be careful!

Memmo Alfama Hotel made the difference for us between a good and a great vacation. First, the basics: the room was immaculate, soundproof, and perfectly appointed. The shower worked well (hot water, pressure). Electric outlets were in the right places, and so on. What really made Memmo Alfama stand out though was the rooftop deck. The view, the comfortable seating, the tiny pool all made for a wonderful way to start and end each day. We took breakfast out there each morning (Breakfast, btw was fantastic), returned late afternoon for espresso martinis (me) and a dip in the pool (my wife), and then ended there for a nightcap after an evening out. The staff/service was great - friendly, knowledgeable, and accomadating. The location was excellent - in the heart of the most interesting and visually varied neighborhood, and walking distance to the metro/river running path.

Incredible Views! Great attention to detail in the decor and all the little finishing touches. Check in staff was very friendly and kept our luggage until our rooms were ready. Free FADO concert and free walking tour in the morning (which we couldn't take as were left at 8am).
