Pretty guesthouse
Very pretty guesthouse. Don't expect the service a regular hotel provides: their is not someone always on site. We were given the wrong room and it took a long time to get it fixed. Breakfast could also be improved (coffee and variety).

Great Location
Checking in was very smooth. The hotel contacted me in advance and was ready for our arrival. Checked us in, helped with our luggage and gave us some very useful local insights to the restaurants nearby.
During our stay they even gave us a nice surprise, to help us enjoy the wonderful city and area even more.
We had a balcony overlooking the street to ourselves, though we didn't use it, as it was way too hot outside, but it was still nice to know we had one to use, if we wanted.
The location of the hotel is great, right next to a park and quite a few very very popular restaurants, most were within 5 min walk!

Great property in a local neighbourhood!
The hotel is located in a quiet street in a very central location, minutes walk from local restaurants, bars, cafe's and picturesque squares. The hotel itself is beautifully kept. Our room was spacious, comfortable and delivered a restful place to retire to after a day's sight-seeing. The breakfasts were terrific and the staff very accommodating, especially as I had food intolerances.
The only down-side was the damp condition of some of the walls in our bathroom, which required airing after showering. The rooms were also on the colder side as we visited during a chilly time of the year. I would have also opted for a room with a better view but definitely something to note for our next visit!

This was heaven on earth! The host was just fantastic, saw we were tired and hungry and took us to the breakfast buffet before we even checked in! He also gave us a free bottle of wine on our last day there. Yes, this is expensive for Lisbon, but you really do get what you paid for. We should also note that the neighborhood was incredible to walk around, including the vertical shopping mall next to the park at the top of the hill.

We had a lovely stay at 1869 Príncipe Real. Great location for walking around. Lovely breakfast. Neat and tidy room. We were on the third floor and there is no elevator, so this could be something to keep in mind if mobility or heavy luggage is an issue! The staff are very friendly and they do help with moving luggage, so overall I’d recommend this charming property.
