Hotel Oriente

Das Hotel liegt gut , etwa 50 Meter von der Fußgängerzone entfernt. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß mit Balkon, der allerdings unmöbliert war. Herausragend für italienische Verhältnisse war das Frühstück. Es gab nicht nur Süßes, sondern auch Deftiges, also für jeden etwas dabei. Das Frühstück konnte man im schönen Garten einnehmen. Die Einrichtung des Hotels gleicht im öffentlichen Bereich eher einem Museum, die Zimmer sind dagegen schlicht gehalten. Schade, dass es nur eine Regendusche gab, eine zusätzliche Handbrause finde ich immer besser. Aber das ist Klagen auf hohem Niveau...

L'hotel Oriente è in una posizione ideale per l'isola di Lipari: vicina ai porto di marina Lunga e marina Corta, a due passi delle vie dei negozi e ristoranti più In dell'isola. Gode di una posizione tranquilla e fuori dal caos. L'hotel Oriente è anche un museo che contiene gli oggetti più svariati raccolti in anni dall'antico proprietario: attrezzi da lavoro agricolo, carretti tipici siciliani, pupi, mobili, tavoli di ceramiche, statue, oggetti 'utili' prima della legge Merlin del 1958. Non mancano i sarcofaghi in pietra lavica. Il personale è disponibile e cortese, se volete provare a metterli in difficoltà chiedete loro come venivano usati i vari attrezzi/arredi (scegliete i più strani o esotici). Esperienza indimenticabile.

Calore. Questo è l'aggettivo che racchiude la sensazione che da questo particolarissimo hotel/museo a 200 metri dal corso principale di Lipari (500mtri dalla bellissima Marina Corta). Museo, perché oltre ad essere un hotel sorprende per essere un vero e proprio museo etnografico. Ci sono finito per caso per una prolunga soggiorno decisa sul posto. Decisamente soddisfatto. L'hotel è 3 stelle ma ha servizi da 4 stelle in camera, il personale gentilissimo e molto accogliente e disponibile. Colazione a buffet buonissima (ottimo il caffè espresso che in genere negli hotel lascia un po' a desiderare).

The hotel is full of historical objects from the Sicilian countryside, wherever you look, there is a historical object! I am happy to have stayed here. There is the possibility of having breakfast in the garden by taking the trays with breakfast outside. Reception open 24 hours as well as the bar. Very clean room, white and scented linen. Comfortable mattress! Definitely positive quality-price ratio. The hotel is right near the center, you can easily reach the hydrofoil dock and the marina corta port, the shops and activities. The strong point is the owner, a very determined young woman!! She assisted us by phone when, having made a non-cancellable reservation on a portal, but no longer being able to stay, she helped us find new suitable dates without losing the payment!; but above all, on the day of our arrival, she found a boat all for us to go around, even though there was a patron saint's day on the island and it was impossible to find an available boat, especially because in our group, a friend was in a wheelchair, as he was disabled. She made a series of phone calls of her own free will to help us! And she helped us!! She contacted a person who made himself available to let our friend in difficulty enjoy the sea too. For me, this, this undue attention, is worth more than any star!!

The Oriente hotel is a truly welcoming and comfortable structure. It is a three-star hotel where almost nothing is missing, composed of practically autonomous and quiet structures immersed in a delightful Aeolian-style garden. The furnishings are very original and historic, practically an ethnographic museum. The central street is 2 minutes away. In addition, the helpful and very kind staff gives all the information for excursions, taking care of the contacts for these and for transfers to each location. Good breakfast. Very clean and quiet room. Comfortable beds. Highly recommended!

Very welcoming hotel, simple room very clean, excellent breakfast and attentive and kind staff. Two minutes walk from the main street of Lipari. I booked directly by sending a request via email and leaving a deposit, the quality-price ratio is excellent.

Beautiful hotel, characteristic and with a history behind it. Upon entering you can breathe the Sicilian air. In the center of Lipari, from the port you can reach it in 8 minutes on foot. Kind, friendly and prepared staff. Excellent breakfast also gluten-free. I recommend
