We stayed at the Wacoma Inn in Lincoln City, Oregon from July 15 to 25. There were 5 of us. We drove 15 hours to get there! The sheets didn't fit the twin cots in 2nd room and there was blood stains on both of the cots. We found someone's fishing license papers under the sheets so we knew the sheets hadn't been changed when we got there. . We needed to do our laundry (there was one washer for all motel guests staying) they said the washer was broken and would not get fixed the entire stay. They advertise housekeeping (they had no housekeeping). We had to take our room garbage even the bathroom garbage up to front desk every day in a see through plastic bag and hand it over to the clerks (embarassing). There was no grab bars or hair blow dryer in the bathrooom except for a tiny grab bar very low in the tub!! . The workers were very pleasant, and every time we went to get towels they would gladly give them to us. They are located about a half mile from the ocean, dog friendly, but you must walk quite a ways across the drive to take your dog out for the night. The pool is in a seperate building so you freeze in that icy weather after a swim. The free breakfasts never changed once while we were there, biscuits and gravy, eggs that were from a mix, milk one kind of cereal, a few watered down juices, some bagels and yogurt and coffee. The free breakfasts were very cheap to say the least. I do NOT recommend this motel unless you stay one night perhaps. The only good thing the people were nice that worked there and it was clean except for the beds in 2nd bedroom were not clean. Sheets kept sliding off as you slept. Also the heater were dirty, we found cobwebs inside and they smelled bad if turned on. Also the noise level all night long was horrible. Stomping and pounding from guests from above our room. We have stayed at many places but never this bad for noise,, My granddaughter even complained she could not sleep in that noise!! All night long!! For 10 nights I was charged $2500 but they took off a little for our inconvenience. That is worse than Southern California.
