The motel is poorly run with shockingly bad issues. No AC and when we complained it was an off-handed "oh ya, we need to take that off the website. It broke and none of the rooms have it." None of the rooms had cable either. The floor was dirty. No blow dryer. The one elevator broke down. The front desk staff was trained by a prison guard and likely moonlights in Helgas House of Pain. The evening shift gal "Anita" was the one saving grace. That and the fact we didn't get bed bugs. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere that that's you like they care.

The location in Lincoln City is convenient and we like the pet friendliness. We initially had issues with our door key cards not opening the outside door, but the staff fixed that. However, the bed was too hard -- even for me, let alone for my wife, who is used to a pillowtop mattress.

This was a second stay and was for 2 nights. The entire hotel was clean and well maintained and Wendy did a superb job ensuring that guests were looked after. The hotel is located at the northern end of Lincoln City and there are lots of places of interest and restaurants close by. Chinook Winds ****** is a 6 minute drive. Accommodation is simple but reasonably priced and there is ample parking, though the main parking area is at a perilous angle. I was well looked after during my stay, hence my deciding to extent for a second night/

We've been here 3 nights and have been totally enjoying our stay here. Our room is on the 1st floor close to check in and has been totally redone with new beds. Anita, the manager, has been awesome! The bathroom has a new tub and granite countertop! We'll be back!

Literally THE worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. Air conditioning did not work in room, no shampoo or bath soap provided, no cleaning service provided, creepy people out in the parking lot until 3 in the morning yelling and laughing, and the worst part? The third floor sounds like a fricking pound. Room 316,317 and 318’s dogs were barking NONSTOP and although I contacted the front desk (via phone AND by going downstairs) the front desk clerk treated me as though I was the issue even though I told him to go up there and hear it himself which he refused to.NEVER AGAIN

We stayed at the Wacoma Inn in Lincoln City, Oregon from July 15 to 25. There were 5 of us. We drove 15 hours to get there! The sheets didn't fit the twin cots in 2nd room and there was blood stains on both of the cots. We found someone's fishing license papers under the sheets so we knew the sheets hadn't been changed when we got there. . We needed to do our laundry (there was one washer for all motel guests staying) they said the washer was broken and would not get fixed the entire stay. They advertise housekeeping (they had no housekeeping). We had to take our room garbage even the bathroom garbage up to front desk every day in a see through plastic bag and hand it over to the clerks (embarassing). There was no grab bars or hair blow dryer in the bathrooom except for a tiny grab bar very low in the tub!! . The workers were very pleasant, and every time we went to get towels they would gladly give them to us. They are located about a half mile from the ocean, dog friendly, but you must walk quite a ways across the drive to take your dog out for the night. The pool is in a seperate building so you freeze in that icy weather after a swim. The free breakfasts never changed once while we were there, biscuits and gravy, eggs that were from a mix, milk one kind of cereal, a few watered down juices, some bagels and yogurt and coffee. The free breakfasts were very cheap to say the least. I do NOT recommend this motel unless you stay one night perhaps. The only good thing the people were nice that worked there and it was clean except for the beds in 2nd bedroom were not clean. Sheets kept sliding off as you slept. Also the heater were dirty, we found cobwebs inside and they smelled bad if turned on. Also the noise level all night long was horrible. Stomping and pounding from guests from above our room. We have stayed at many places but never this bad for noise,, My granddaughter even complained she could not sleep in that noise!! All night long!! For 10 nights I was charged $2500 but they took off a little for our inconvenience. That is worse than Southern California.

For a Motel 6, this was surprisingly nice as compared to others, with that being said a little overpriced (made reservations in advance) but think everything in Lincoln City on a summer Saturday night is overpriced. Property has 3 floors with elevator, sign said 2nd floor for those with pet allergies. I was on 3rd floor and had angle view of the ocean. Has laminate floors and newer bed covering. Appreciated printout of tv channels. Also had tub/shower combination, not huge tub but something new. A drawback is if you park in front of property there is a steep hill to walk up (exception a few spots and handicap), I was told there is a back lot but would suggest if possible unloading in front of motel if traveling with family or another person. Anita, manager was welcoming and when asked suggested a reasonably priced eating place. With a little paint on door frames, wiping down of mirrors rather than smears would be even better.

I had a very nice 2nights.The room was clean and did not have any oders from pets. Anita was a real sweet heart at the desk. I would stay there again. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was at night with all the family's with children and pets.
