The location is excellent, just behind the opera house, very convenient to everywhere.
The breakfast is very good in local hotels.
As for hygiene, French style, it is OK. The only thing is that the bathroom shower room is very small. I already have a deluxe room, but it is still very narrow. However, there is an electric towel rack, which is very useful for people on business trips, plus points.

Just normal hotel for business trip, there is road construction during the stay, quite noisy in the morning.

I prepaid all my hotel fees online with my credit card via Trip.com, but shortly after I checked out of my hotel, I received an SMS on my mobile phone saying that my credit card was charged again by the hotel itself (the duplicate charge being approximately 1250 HKD, which is more or less the same as what I had prepaid via Trip.com).
I sought help from Trip.com regarding the duplicate charge, but still haven't received any refund after waiting for more than 1 week.
I really can't recommend this hotel to anyone. You pay for your room at double price for no reason at all.

Très bel hôtel, excellente situation, les chambres sont belles avec une décoration stylée Le plus une cafetière Nespresso Très grande salle de bains Literie moyenne Alors la déception : un accueil à la réception odieux par des jeunes femmes hautaines dans le jugement : pourquoi avez vous réservé par tel plateforme ( même remarque désagréable pour les personnes suivantes) Quel dommage le reste du service est très bon Mesdames changez de métier vous n’êtes pas faites pour l’hôtellerie, un concierge d’hôtel est là pour vous aider et essayer de régler les problèmes Monsieur le directeur votre personnel d’accueil donne l’image de votre établissement Nous avons séjourné dans l’autre Mercure de Lille , rien à voir un accueil parfait agréable et souriant

En séjour d une semaine pour les affaires , je ne regrette pas d avoir choisi cette hôtel. Excellent emplacement , à proximité de la gare . Accueil courtois , très réactif en cas de souci dans la chambre ( problème de fuite dans la baignoire réparé dès le lendemain) . Propreté impeccable. Seul petit bémol l agencement de sdb , trop petite pour y mettre une baignoire , une douche aurait plus judicieux car l accès à celle ci est plutôt compliqué, obligé de se plier pour contourner le WC afin d y accéder. A part ça, rien à reprocher . Je le conseil les yeux fermés.

You cannot find a better location to stay when exploring the city as everything is within 10 minutes walk. Bed was comfortable, into downside was the shower head was very close to the wall so a longer one would be better. Room was warm even without the heating on.
