"I came to Liling to visit relatives and originally planned to stay at the Wyndham, but my relatives said there was a new one nearby, so I stayed there instead. I arrived around 1 a.m. When I checked in, I told the front desk four or five times not to book the last room. I travel for work all year round and have stayed in countless hotels in countless cities, but this was the last room I found. I called the front desk to ask why it was the last room, and the first thing she said was that she didn't have any rooms left. I said she should have told me earlier that she didn't have any rooms left, so I could choose not to stay. Then she said she didn't know it was the last room... Considering it was almost 2 a.m., I hung up. I've been traveling for work for over ten years and have stayed in hotels all over China, and this is the first time I've ever experienced this.
