Hilton Garden Inn Guanacaste Airport

Perfect location for Liberia Airport with a free shuttle every 15 minutes. The hotel was spotless and had amazing facilities including an outdoor pool and gym. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Air con unit was very noisy and we did have to turn off but the room was cool enough anyway.

This is your typical Hilton hotel you would find in America, honestly if you just came here you would think you are back home. Also, they have amenities such a restaurant, pool and fitness room at this hotel. Restaurant food is okay, nothing like the food you have probably have enjoyed while traveling around Costa Rica. Lastly, the room was clean and standard, no fuss! It is also very close to all the rental car return places. Breakfast is not included with reservation, it is something you pay out of pocket. Overall, very great option for someone traveling in or out of Liberia Intl Airport.

This hotel is located just a few minutes away from the Guanacaste airport (LIR) and Hilton provides a free shuttle. When I arrived, there were several Hilton shuttle buses waiting (to the left of the taxis). The grounds are immaculate and the landscaping is more in keeping with a resort rather than an airport hotel. There is a bar, pool, restaurant, boutique, small convenience store, gym, and a massage place. Also, an ATM machine is available. There is an outdoor activity area that looks as if it’s set up for special events. The hotel is spotless and looks new. My room is spacious and clean. I did not find any USB ports, but I could plug in all of my US electronics into the outlets. A breakfast buffet is served until 10 and room service is available. All of the staff have been very friendly and helpful. If you only speak English, it will not be a problem at this hotel.

Just stayed here last week for last two nights in Costa Rica when we were doing full day tours. The room was very nice and being Diamond members received free breakfast which was great as it’s $28 which is a lot for breakfast. We also received coupon for two free drinks each night. The pool area is so beautiful with a lanai covered in flowers and lots of loungers. We ate breakfast out here and had drinks each night. The pool was warm and clean. Used the shuttle to the airport took about 5 minutes to airport. Highly suggest for night of an arriving flight or the night before a flight.

A really nice hotel, 10min from airport. Free shuttle from airport to hotel and back. Full hot breakfast included in the price. Rooms were clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Fun outdoor pool. Good gym. Reasonable priced restaurant for dinner with local dishes. All together a great stay.

We arrived in Liberia after 8pm so we stayed here based on a recommendation by @ridetheearth. The location was a quick shuttle ride from the airport and we arrived in time to order dinner and relax after our long flight. Food was delicious and accommodating to food allergies and vegan preferences. Rooms were comfortable and cool. We even had time for the pool in the morning which was delightful. Staff was welcoming and helpful.

Stayed here the night before heading to the airport. Arrived before check in but was provided a door key so we could use the pool and order lunch while waiting on our room. Breakfast had good options of eggs, waffles, sausages, beans/rice, cereal selection, breads/pastries. Room was clean and modern. Enjoyed the stay

A great place to begin our ten day birding trip to northern Costa Rica. Right across the road from the Liberia International Airport. Clean, quiet and comfy. During a late afternoon bird walk on the grounds and down the street saw something like 20 species of birds with a couple new to us not to mention howler monkeys. Dinner was ok--nothing special. And, they had no menus--we had to scan a QR code. The breakfast buffet was great with nice variety of items. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
