Quiet, lovely inn with very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was generous and well presented! Hosts were responsive and friendly. Only surprise was that ******* listed the room as accommodating three people at a certain price and I learned upon arrival that the twin cot being added was an additional cost. Typically if a room with a queen can accommodate more than two people, there’s a sofabed involved and the cost is the cost. That said, we were very happy with our stay and hope to return!

We spent three nights at the Abigail Inn in Lexington, Virginia. The proprietors are most welcoming and of course, the inn is their own home. Their three young daughters are a delightful addition to the family setting. The room was spotless, with a most comfortable bed and period furnishings. The location makes for easy access for walking to the downtown area. The only drawback was the squeeky floors, not unexpected in a historic house.

Wonderful last minute find as we were passing through Lexington Virginia. The host family were very professional and attentive to all our needs during our stay. I would highly recommend the Abigail Inn for a short or longer stay in the area.

This was a wonderful experience. They stayed up late to welcome us in, and prepared an amazing breakfast. The room was spacious, pristine, and very comfortable. Would recommend, and we will likely plan future travels around the opportunity to stay here again.

We had a lovely two-night stay at this beautiful Inn. The couple that run it were so friendly and helpful and we enjoyed meeting the whole family and felt very much at home. We stayed in the Washington room which is very spacious with a king size bed and large bathroom. It was very clean and well appointed and was a very welcome retreat. Breakfasts were cooked to order and delicious, especially the croissant sandwiches. The Inn is close enough to walk into downtown Lexington but we drove because of the excessive heat while we were there. You can’t go wrong in choosing the Abigail Inn.

Our accomodations were beautiful, comfortable and in a lovely location. The breakfasts were exceptional. The biggest surprise was that our hosts had 5 star international hospitality experience! So the Abigail Inn exudes their passion for the Art of Hospitality! They were kind, hospitable and professional. It was easy to relax and feel right at home. We enjoyed Lexington, but if we are within an hour or so, we will go just to stay at the Abigail Inn!
