Hampton Inn Lewiston

The property is old, but, except the terrible pillows, adequate. Service was spotty. I was given a key to a room that was occupied, and even a day later, my digital key was still for the occupied room. I asked for housekeeping service but didn't receive it, my key was coded to expire before my check out date, and the sink in my bathroom was clogged. Nothing earth shattering, but not great. Getting the key to an occupied room is a major safety problem.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Very clean throughout. Every staff member encountered was friendly and helpful. The location is amazing. Unfortunately we had a parking lot view, but next time I would choose a view room. We were able to enjoy the beautiful view though from the nice, seemingly brand new, patio at night. The room was great. Loved the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room super dark at night. Did I mention how clean the hotel was? They offer free bottled water anytime you want which is really nice. There is a movie theater across the street which we utilized. Fun! I would stay here again!

The setting is beautiful above the gorge and river. The rooms clean, equipped,cozy and very quiet. All of the staff are superb. The front desk was especially kind and friendly. The breakfast area was very well done and clean as well. Our vehicles were secure with plenty of space.

From the moment we checked in, we were impressed. The rooms are sparkly clean, fresh baked cookies on the counter. Super front desk attendants - great breakfast. Nice views - close to lots of restaurants.the nicest Hampton Inn we’ve ever been on. This place is perfect!

We spent one night in hotel after a river cruise. The hotel is a new-ish building that is very clean and well-maintained. It's located close to a shopping mall and restaurants within walking distance. The people we met at the hotel were standouts: Don at checkin helped with an early checkin at a busy time of year and even got us a sweet river view room. Everything in the room was clean and worked. We had to checkout at 4am for an early flight. Rosie took care of confirming our shuttle to the airport which is also very close. Louie was our driver, a kind cool guy with a great voice who handled our luggage and got us there safely with time to spare. We favor Hamptons when we travel, and this is definitely the best one in a long time. Will definitely go back when in the Lewiston-Clarkston area again.

New Hotel and a good central location to the parks, rivers, stores, gas and restaurants. Cinema across the street and a steakhouse within an easy walk to get too. Recommend river view room on the north side facing Clearwater River. Good breakfast selection and terrace to sit at and enjoy the views while eating.

CHECK IN: The check-in was fast and easy and we were able to get to our room in no time. ROOM: we were upgraded to a Riverview and we certainly appreciate that! We had a two-bedroom queen that was close to the elevators. You could hear a little bit of the elevator noise but not enough to bother us. The beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. There was a side chair that you could use at the desk. The room was very clean and looked well attended to. We didn't hear much from other guests. However we did here the heater going off several times during the night which managed to keep us awake some. My suggestion would be to just turn it off. BATHROOM: the bathrooms had everything that we needed to be able to get ready for our day. Towels or plentiful and there was room on the counter to be able to place all of your toiletries. There was a night light which was a nice touch to be able to see in the middle of the night without waking your partner. AMENITIES: Coffee pot in room and coffee tasted good. Small size frig and microwave is appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful and had a wide variety of foods to choose from.

When we checked in at 3 pm there were 2 people at the front desk. That was the only time during our stay that there was ever a person at the front desk when we walked by. There was always a sign that they were away and no bell to ring for service. Liked the Diamond Member parking but not acknowledged for our status. Had to ask and was provided a bag and instructed to get a CAN of soda and 1 candy bar. We had a room with a view but it was right off the elevator vestibule so you could hear the bong of the elevator door all morning. Again, I'm a Diamond Member and this is the best room you can give me and not even on the top floor? The room was fine. Lots of outlets. A couple of extra seats. The bathroom door shared with the closet door. Odd design and not the best for some. The bathroom counter was large, but a really low toilet. The taps of the shower were on the back of the tub and we could keep the tub plugged for my kiddo to take a bath. Asked for extra towels but did not see them in room. No extra blankets either. Then when we went to use the pool someone had a dog in the pool and not a service dog. It ran out the door when we entered. So we left and came back again in about 30 mins and they were gone. A hot tub would have been nice. We went down for breakfast at about 7:10. Everything was pretty empty, so we got coffee and my kid got toast. We waited along with the 3 other people in the breakfast area (it was pretty empty then) and only 1 item was filled (eggs) in the 30 mins we were there. I ended up just getting a banana and some of the canned fruit. Would have loved some of the potatoes, since they didn't not offer any gluten free or dairy free options. Only saw the breakfast attendant once. Ended up getting breakfast somewhere else. When we went to check out ,again the sign was up, but wanted to make sure about my bill. I waited about 3-5 mins and eventually someone came to print my bill. Never asked about my stay. I would have shared but was not asked. Probably won't come back. We've stayed at other hotels in the area with better service and options.

The bathroom door was horrible. It slides back and forth and there are gaps on the left and right. it joins with the closet. Breakfast was ok. front desk clerks were nice. Bed was comfortable, pillows were lumpy. I wouldn't stay again because of the bathroom door. Also the toilet was so far down I had trouble getting up.
