Premier Inn Lewes Town Centre

The beds were comfy, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff who made our stay very enjoyable, with Soukayna standing out as especially wonderful - she went above and beyond and can’t thank her enough! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

The room was modern, well designed, clean & comfortable, it was also quiet, no traffic noise or any disturbance from neighbouring rooms or corridor. The dining room was well laid out with comfortable furnishings, choice of food excellent, service attentive & pleasant. Being above the ground floor there is a lift to all floors. The car park is run by the Town council at reason able rates for up to 2 hours, free from 5pmm to 9am, you just have to take a chance.

This is a great hotel to stay in if you are visiting Lewes. It is very central and only a short walk from the railway station. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. I liked the way they did breakfast. Instead of a buffet for the hot food, they took your order. This meant the food was freshly cooked, and there would not be any excessive waste. It was a very enjoyable stay and I will definitely book there again when visiting Lewes next time.

We were very well cared for throughout the stay. Check in was efficient, room all clean, tidy and equipped as we’d expect from Premier Inn! Lovely hot water. The breakfast was excellent, and as I am gluten free, I really appreciate that this is well catered for. Staff member Souksyna was most helpful

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Namely, Ali, Jon and Katie. The check in was smoothed by the helpful Ali as the check in kiosk was not working as it should. Jon and Katie were really helpful at breakfast. The overall experience was great. Very clean and quiet.

Great staff, very good value room and location and an outstanding breakfast. But the evening meal is probably only for if you are so tired that you can't be bothered to go elsewhere - although the steak was good - or if you are seduced by the price for a meal and breakfast.

Quiet and comfortable. The room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked. Within walking distance from train station. Saturday farmers market right outside was a nice surprise. Very central to the town and amenities

As fairly regular users of Premier Inns we appreciate the usual standard but the Lewes Premier was not so good. We had room No.105 which was a little on the tired side and the bathroom was not great. It sounded like there was some kind of stock room above us with constant footsteps on a hard floor and things being dragged about. This happened most of the day, in the very early hours, and also way past midnight. It was hardly worth watching the room TV as it had very few stations on it The shower curtain rail was hanging loosely which meant the curtain kept sliding away from the shower end, leaving a gap and flooding the floor. The extractor fan was not working so the bathroom was constantly steamed up. The staff were fine but generally seemed always to be at full stretch and the girl at check in did not speak good English
