Suggestions for improvement include adding a minibar in the room and catering for dinner (half board)."

"We had a weeks guided walking in the Austrian Tyrol which was an excellent experience. We were based at the Hotel Kristall in Leutasch. The hotel was adults only - very nice to get away from kiddies for a change. Rooms were very comfortable with a terrace to use in the afternoon. The infinity pool offered spectacular views, what a treat to relax in the warm water after walking 8 miles! The food was excellent, portion sizes weren't huge but plenty as most meals were 5 courses. Karin in the restaurant deserves a mention for always been smiley and helpful, along with Georgina who always remembered that I liked a straw with my drink! Richard on reception was very helpul. In fact all the staff were great and coped very well with a lot of Brits who didn't speak any foreign language. There is no air conditioning, which was a problem as it was very hot during our stay. Daniel - a quick fix . . .supply small table top fans in all the rooms - that would keep your guests happy. Another quick fix - make sure you have enough English Breakfast Tea when you have British guests staying with you! Many thanks for a lovely stay."

"Very poor reception. The receptionist sat in a side room making a phone call in plain sight for more than 10 minutes, paying no attention to arriving guests. Afternoon snack upon arrival was not included. If we hadn't made a deposit, we would have left. The rest of the staff were extremely friendly, which made the bitter taste disappear. Good breakfast, snack, and dinner. Check-out by another lady was extremely polite."

"Peter & Gaby the owners and their staff are incredibly warm and hospitality. Eating and attention to this is of unprecedented high level. To the point of care and very nice and helpful. We were there with Christmas, 24 December even with the guests we even received a galadina. The environment was beautiful and quiet but if you love this or you're looking for this for a week, this site is a shock! The rooms are a little old but the atmosphere and everything around them makes everything more than good. Thank you so much we will come back!"

We couldn't find fault and hope to come back."

The selection and quality of the breakfast and coffee are rather mediocre, the lighting in the breakfast room/buffet area is inadequate (too dark), dinner at the hotel was okay, and the very friendly staff seemed somewhat overworked (presumably due to staff shortages in the kitchen and service)."

"Contemporary designed and tastefully decorated. The spa facilities here are excellent with the infinity pool commanding a beautiful panoramic view . Saunas and dampfbad are heated well. Robes and towels are provided to use. Rooms are very clean, spacious and with sufficient storage including a small wardrobe. Ziplinked large double and comfortable. Balcony with sufficient space to sit. Ours overlooked the road and road noise was not an issue. Breakfast- superb selection of juices, best I've ever encountered. Good selection of cheese, fish, meats, salad etc. Bread as always in Austria is so good. Afternoon snacks a good selection of salads. The tray baked chocolate cake was excellent! Dinner - very busy yet the team handled it all well and calmly albeit there were some errors with drinks and menu selection. Good quality. Wine list very good. Naturally a sound selection of Austrian wines, never to be underestimated. All staff encountered were friendly and professional. Richard on reception was especially cherry and welcoming. Would return."

"Hello, the double room was adequately equipped. The view of the Hohe Munde mountain was, of course, fantastic, but unfortunately, the balcony railing was very dirty with pollen and bird droppings. I had to clean it myself. The glasses and cups in the room were also not clean. There was no welcome at the hotel, just a brief introduction at reception by a friendly staff member. The spa area is quite nice, although there were children's toys lying on the slope above us. The outdoor pool and especially the natural pool are truly lovely. However, the nut mix available for consumption in the spa area shouldn't be left open in a bowl (for hygiene reasons). There are better solutions. The food was okay, but nothing more. They certainly use convenience products (sauces, soups), and unfortunately, I noticed this. The style of cuisine isn't exactly modern; it's probably geared more towards an older clientele. The side dishes weren't cooked through, which is unacceptable, especially for potatoes. Some of the bread at breakfast was rather dry. The croissants, puff pastry, etc., were unfortunately reheated. It was nice that you could make your own freshly squeezed juice every morning, and there were four egg variations you could order as an extra. The four-course dinner was, as mentioned, okay, but not exactly a culinary highlight. The portions were rather small, but you could get seconds if you were still hungry. The staff were friendly, which should be standard. The vegetarian options could be a bit more varied. All in all, the visit was still enjoyable, and we had a relaxing holiday."
