Stayed here last weekend and it was lovely. We paid extra for a loch view room and although it was expensive it was worth it. The view was amazing, the room was lovely and the little touches throughout made it a special stay. We stayed valentines night and had booked into the restaurant for dinner. Food was excellent, service good although a bit expensive. A rose was on every table which was nice and then when we went back to our room a rose and teacakes were left on the turned down bed. Really nice touch. I would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone travelling to the area. Couldn't fault it at all.

The views are absolutely incredible! Service was amazing, food was tasty, room was comfy and clean, and property was breathtaking. I fully recommend this stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They also had a great little bar downstairs which was a wonderful place to relax before dinner.

What an absolutely lovely place to stay and eat! Very clean and staff were so friendly and welcoming. The setting is beautiful, I just wish we’d got here a lot earlier to take in the wonderful views for longer. We will be back with no hesitation at all. Thank you.

We stopped for lunch as I’m the past the food was very good with a stunning setting looking over the water ! Sadly it is def not the same and will certainly not return . It has obviously been taken over and the menu is now predominantly Indian with a few other choices but very expensive ! Not good quality A good location spoilt !

I came here for an evening meal on the 2nd January with my partner and son. What a lovely meal was had and such a lovely setting with the Christmas lights outside. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the staff were excellent and we look forward to our next visit.

We took the self-contained cottage for two nights to tour around the lake. The cottage is way more equipped than we ever needed. The whole cottage albeit wooden, is adequately fitted with heating system, so it was warm and cosy even in the middle of the night during our winter visit. Staffs are warm and welcoming. My wife left behind a jacket when we checked out, and we got a call from their staff just shortly after we left.

Another fantastic stay at whispering pines. Perfect location 100% relaxation, food was outstanding. Great hospitality and Hogmanay party perfect start to 2025. The staff are all so attentive special thanks to Akill for his wonderful attention. See you soon for our next visit
