Les Houches Hotels with Airport pickup service

This is a clean- cheery and fun hotel! A very good rate- awesome staff and food! The location is convenient as well- a perfect place for a family or couples stay - little bowling alley Board games- pleasant surprises everywhere-they even had parking!

Location - 15 minutes away from Chamonix- Mont Blanc; 1 1/2 hour from Geneva Airport; there is supermarket 5 minutes away from the hotel, bus stop is 2 minutes walk; they will give you Free Bus Card upon check in Room - includes basic amenities; the hotel is very new; clean bathroom and we got a balcony facing the street; they dont have AC so it must be very hot on Summer Food -we tried their Italian restaurant for 2 consecutive dinner - there's not much restaurant in the area. Food was great and generous portion and not that pricey. We tried their Pasta, Pizza, Burger. Breakfast - the booking includes breakfast - wide selection - eggs, bacon, cold cuts, bread, cheese, and lots more. Worth to have to start the day!

Really nice little hotel. Quiet at night time and in central location of Chamonix. The room was clean and comfortable, enough for one person. Bathroom was really clean and had towels, soap and a hairdryer. The breakfast room was clean and tidy and a continental selection of jams, cheese and cold meats. Able to boil an egg, toast, baguette and fresh croissant, fruit, yoghurt etc. Would definitely stay there again. Staff friendly and helpful. Secure entrance when staff leave for the night.

Friendly staff, functional rooms and a really nice vibe. If you want to be in a place surrounded by skiers and boarders who really know their stuff then this is the place. Super easy access by bus to Les Houches, Grand Montets and Brévent. I’ll certainly be back.

I should start by saying it is hard to get a 5 from me for a hotel. My group of 4 was very happy with the Alpina. For starters, it's right next to two bus stops, one of which is only 2 stops from Brevent. There is also a ski shop in the hotel, and ski lockers downstairs. As this was primarily a ski trip, this set up was prime. The rooms were great and the view of Mont Blanc from the terrace was amazing each morning. The morning breakfast situation was pretty fantastic as well. So many options, including fresh pancakes, omelets, and crepes. The bar downstairs had fantastic service and had a bunch of boardgames to play with our friends. Some of of best memories from this trip were down in this area playing games and drinking espresso martinis. I only have a few negatives: 1. The elevators always seem to take forever. There were multiple times I was waiting for one of the 3 elevators for over 5 minutes. 2. The spa requires reservations, which I completely understand to make sure it's not over crowded. But we had to plan our ski day and apres schedule around when we can go sit in the hot tub. 3. This was made a bit worse when we discovered the hot tubs are not hot. At all. Typically we enjoy hot tubs around 35-43ºc. These two hot tubs were maybe 25ºc. Once the jets turned on, it was almost chilly. These are very minor complaints, but these are why I didn't give a 5.

Everything was good except the fact that has poor ventilation. No fan or A/c so feels quite sticky inside. However, staff, location and services really good. Requested to change room due to the noise from train and the manager was very helpful and lovely to assist. Would love to stay again but in winter

Mont Blanc view room is on the highest 7th floor. From there u got wide open view with mountain just in front of u. U can even see the mountain right in the bed. Enjoyed every moment of the stay, from day time, dusk, dawn.. Room super spacious, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was not bad, on par with 4star-level the one I had at another hotel

Monsieur Hugo L, je fais suite à votre réponse plus que lamentable sur notre commentaire, nous attendions votre réponse avec impatience et nous ne sommes pas déçu… Nous avons loué une chambre pour une nuit et nous avons mangé au restaurant le soir, nous avions vu les très bons avis sur Google et n’avons pas hésité. Arrivé à l’hôtel, l’accueil était moyen, on nous donne la clé et on nous indique même pas la direction pour trouver les chambres, en clair débrouillez vous…. Puis nous avons donc mangé le soir à l’auberge, quelle déception…. Le verre d’apéritif était rempli au 3/4 de glaçons, une honte … L’entrée très moyenne aussi, les st-Jacques étaient plutôt bonnes mais tout ce qui l’entourait était fade et sans saveurs…. Étonnant venant « d’un passionné de gastronomie » comme on peut le lire sur certains commentaires…. Le plat était très médiocre niveau goût et présentation, le filet de fera était trop cuit, bourré d’arêtes et fade, l’accompagnement était inexistant, nous sommes restés sur notre faim… encore une fois un passionné de gastronomie… Le dessert vous permettra de quitter la table en étant lever tellement il y a rien à manger, un goût inexistant et une texture plus que douteuse, la meilleure chose était un vulgaire biscuit sec… madame n’a même pas fini l’assiette… Pour finir nous avons pris une tisane à la camomille et à la verveine… je sais que l’eau est rare mais pour remplir une tasse complètement vu le prix, est ce du luxe..? Je vous joins la photo de cette fameuse tisane… une honte je n’ai jamais vu ça ailleurs ! Nous aurions dû prendre une photo de chaque plat mais nous avions un peu de respect pour l’équipe… Enfin, nous avons fait part de notre incompréhension au propriétaire de l’établissement sans mauvaise intention particulière bien au contraire, il nous a offert les apéritifs pour ensuite nous dire que c’était nous le problème et que c’était pas de notre goût… il faut assumer monsieur Hugo L. Nous partions pour ne pas spécialement mettre d’avis car l’équipe était très agréable dans l’ensemble en dehors du propriétaire. C’était sans compter sur ce même propriétaire qui a attendu qu’on règle pour se lâcher avec son comportement condescendant et pour nous rappeler que c’est nous le problème et pas lui. Monsieur Hugo L, vous êtes une honte pour tous les restaurateurs et pour votre équipe, vous n’êtes ni commerçant, ni bienveillant vis à vis de vos clients, vous n’acceptez pas la critique même constructive, pas professionnel et êtes à la rue complet par rapport à ce que devrait être un bon restaurateur. Rappelez vous que c’est les clients qui font votre CA…. Toute personne insatisfaite se fait limite agresser avec des propos pitoyable, très limite et pas professionnel du tout. N’hésitez pas à aller voir ailleurs ce que propose vos concurrents pour prendre exemple et vous améliorer… ou changer de métier, visiblement celui de restaurateur n’est pas fait pour vous. Although we own an apartment in beautiful Saint Gervais, it is currently undergoing refurbishment, and so, on two occasions recently, once with friends and once with my husband (and Max the dog) we’ve chosen to stay at the lovely new Le Saint Gervais Hotel and Spa. Saint Gervais has several hotel options, but none with quite this luxury or quite so modern. Given its location so close to the start of the village (and close to the new télécabine from Le Fayet which has been announced), it is very well placed to capture tourists, and as it is open all year round, both in the summer and winter seasons. There is so much to like about the hotel. It is spotlessly clean; rooms have balconies overlooking the mountains and the town; and the staff are friendly and attentive. The barman Louison deserves a special mention here, showing genuine warmth, welcoming our dog to the hotel, and attempting cocktails “off menu”. The restaurant is not due to open until August this year and so, as others have mentioned, breakfast is currently being served in a function room somewhat devoid of atmosphere. Breakfast itself is ok. Nothing to particularly criticise, nor get excited about either. The vacuum flasks of coffee are awful however!! I hope that once the restaurant is complete that the breakfast offering improves with perhaps coffee, omelettes etc served to order too. Rooms are air conditioned (which was a blessing the weekend we stayed) with fast and efficient wifi throughout the hotel. The spa area is small, and I think the hotel really missed the opportunity for an outside jacuzzi. Aside from a small outdoor pool and some loungers, there isn’t much to report outside. Overall, we loved our time at the hotel, and will be sure to return for drinks, meals, or special occasions even once our own apartment is complete. Thanks everyone!!
