No complaints here. The hotel is ideally located an easy walk to the old town, zoo and station. The rooms are clean, smart and well appointed. Nespresso coffee machines plus a kettle and tea a bonus. Breakfast is excellent with a fine range of options to suit all tastes. The bar is small but perfectly adequate. The staff both friendly and helpful. There’s also a great little pizza place just across the road. All in all a great place to stay and a rather fab city.

We found everything at the hotel to be top notch. The rooms were the right size with comfortable beds. Nice shower and double sink in the bathroom a plus. The breakfast buffet provided a fine variety of good quality food. Appreciated the vegetarian/vegan options though did not need them. Located a short walk from the train station, center city and the zoo, the hotel provides a perfect place from which to visit Leipzig.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen in diesem Hotel. Dieses liegt sehr zentral, so dass Hauptbahnhof, Zoo und Innenstadt schnell fußläufig zu erreichen sind. In unserem Bad fanden wir mehrere Haare von den Vorgängern, die bei der Reinigung an den nächsten beiden Tagen auch nicht entfernt wurden. Eine gute Reinigung sieht anders aus. Der Hauptkritikpunkt ist der Frühstücksraum, der sehr schmal und klein ist. Da der kleine Buffettbereich am Ende des Raumes ist, drängeln sich alle Gäste eng an den Tischen vorbei. An ein ruhiges Frühstück ist hier nicht zu denken und wir waren vor dem angekündigten Peak dort. Zudem gibt es nur eine Kaffeemaschine, so dass man immer sehr lange warten muss. Diesen Umstand konnten auch die stets freundlichen Mitarbeiter nicht wettmachen. Wir können das Hotel nicht empfehlen.

Nice, clean and modern hotel in a safe, central area of the city, at walking distance from the old town and central station. All the amenities everywhere, not big, but very well organized and pleasant. The room was big enough and with everything you need: tea and coffee facilities, good and functional storage space, couch , spotlessly clean, good quality products in the bathroom, well maintained furniture, safe, fridge, green options for helping nature. Breakfast was very good and tasty with fresh and good quality cold and savoury products, a large choice and never missing anything. Very nice and efficient staff, quiet and comfortable everywhere. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Das Art Hotel City in Leipzig hat uns mit der Größe unseres Eckzimmers positiv überrascht – wirklich viel Platz, was toll war. Die Betten waren bequem, aber die Kissen leider nicht so gut. Die Lage ist super. Vom Bahnhof aus waren wir in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß da, und auch zum Zoo oder in die Altstadt war es nicht weit. Die Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert, und man konnte sie auch von der Stärke her gut einstellen, was ich echt praktisch fand. Der Balkon war auch ein Pluspunkt, obwohl er zur Straßenseite lag. Wenn die Balkontür zu war, war es von der Lautstärke her absolut okay – nicht zu laut. Was uns gestört hat, war die Sauberkeit im Zimmer. Es gab zum Glück keinen Teppich, aber es sah nicht so aus, als ob richtig gesaugt oder geputzt worden wäre. Das Bad war leider auch nicht in bestem Zustand. Es wirkte ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, und die Dusche hatte viel Schimmel, was echt unangenehm war. Das Frühstück war für den Preis okay – nichts Besonderes, aber in Ordnung. Insgesamt hat das Hotel gute Ansätze, aber bei der Sauberkeit und Pflege ist definitiv noch Luft nach oben.

Booked this hotel through a 3rd party for a concert. Was unable to attend the concert and tried to cancel the hotel but the hotel want me to pay the full price for the 2 nights. Thats nearly €300. I am 99.9% sure that when I booked there was free cancelation and they have changed their policy. They could resell the hotel 10 times the night of the concert. Double check your booking with this shower of chancers!!

Das Hotel ist ganz nahe beim Zoo und zentrumsnah. Wir hatten das Rooftop Zimmer. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bin Rollstuhlfahrer und habe hier alles barrierefrei erreichen können. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und gut.
