Not a great experience overall. Location is not directly off any public transportation line so bear in mind lugging luggage on cobblestone can be very taxing. Service was slow at check-in. Only one staff was there in the evening, and a short queue formed to check-in while waiting for the staff to get off the phone. At check-in, room was automatically assigned via iPad, which was not a courtyard view as advertised on Trip.com, but rather a view of the garbage dump (from room 101). Went back down to ask for a change of room, and 45 frustrating minutes later, the front desk said it was because of the room category and “offered to upgrade” for 20 euros additional per night. After travelling for a long time, I didn’t want to waste any more time with a back and forth as to why Trip.com advertised a courtyard view, and the hotel gave me a garbage dump view instead, so I obliged. The new room however, was much better with a view of the Thomaskirche opposite, a lot more internal space, and a mini kitchenette.

The hotelbis unstaffed after 8pm without forwarding nor any indication upon late arrival of how to get in. The rooms are spacious, but It was not cleaned nor bed made up during my stay. The location is fine but foresee 20 to 30 min to get a taxi.

Sehr zentrales und tolles designtes Hotel. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit direktem Blick auf die Thomas Kirche. Der Service vor Ort ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück sehr lecker und zu empfehlen. Zudem haben wir die Sauna nach einem langen Tag in Leipzig sehr genossen und auch diese ist sehr gepflegt und überraschend toll gestaltet.

Super schönes restauriertes Haus an der Thomaskirche mit toller Einrichtung und allem Komfort. Sauna wird leider im Sommer nicht angestellt, sehr schade, viele möchten sie auch im Sommer benutzen und ist ja auch im Preis mit drin. Der Preis für ein Frühstück für € 28,-- wäre wohl mal zu überdenken! Man kann zwar auch einzeln was bestellen, ist alles sehr umständlich und wurde dann auch bei der Abrechnung falsch berechnet. Der Service ist sehr nett, müsste aber noch etwas geschult werden. Parken ausserhalb im Parkhaus für angeblich € 8,-- pro Tag stimmte nicht, wir haben für 2 Nächte € 30,-- bezahlt. Das sollte dem Gast auch vorher genau beschrieben werden ! Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Hotel, wir würden auch wieder kommen.

Hôtel très bien situé, la chambre est grande et la salle d'eau bien agencée, la literie confortable. Les trucs moins bien : l'offre TV sans chaînes premium, pas moyen de voir certains matches de l'Euro 2024 alors que le voyage est organisé pour suivre une rencontre au stade de Leipzig. Mais surtout le petit-déjeuner très mal organisé, avec une équipe débordée sans possibilité pour le client de se préparer un café tout seul, c'est un membre du staff qui doit gérer toutes les commandes, idem pour le cuistot qui doit préparer les omelettes et autres pancakes, plus de 45 minutes d'attente, c'est inacceptable quand on facture le petit-déjeuner 28€ par personne. Les viennoiseries et le buffet étaient assez vite vidés et le réassort trop lent aussi. Et pas de réception ouverte H24, c'est aussi très décevant pour un hôtel de ce standing.

Wunderbar an der Thomaskirche und direkt gegenüber dem Bach-Denkmal gelegen, gediegene Ausstattung, geräumiges und schön eingerichtetes Zimmer mit einem Faksimile der Bach-Kantate "Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen" (BWV 51) an der Wand, reichhaltiges und qualitätsvolles Frühstück sowie - auch sehr wichtig - besonders freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Alles in allem ein äußerst angenehmer Aufenthalt aus Anlass meines Besuches beim Bachfest Leipzig.

Wir haben das Hotel über Secret escapes zu einem Superpreis gebucht. Das Zimmer ging zum ruhigen Innenhof und war sehr großzügig mit einem Begrüßungscocktail ausgestattet. Das sehr charmante Boutiquehotel hat kein Abendessen, ist aber alles sehr zentral. Das Frühstück besticht durch hawaiianische Einflüsse und ist sehr ideenreich. Parken leider im öffentlichen Parkhaus, 100m entfernt.

Nettes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern im Zentrum. Die Nordseite des Hotels ist zur seitlichen Thomaskirche gelegen und man hat einen einen fantastischen Blick auf das Denkmal Johann Sebastian Bachs. Bei offenem Fenster hört man Orgelmusik und Gottesdienst aus der Kirche und die vielen Besuchergruppen auf dem Thomaskirchhof. Abends ist es trotzdem ruhig. Man ist also ganz nah dran und das Bach-Museum ist direkt nebenan. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, mit bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten und Betten ausgestattet. Standart waren Shampoo, Hand- und Bodylotion sowie Duschlotion. Im Service ist noch Luft nach oben, sowohl im Housekeeping, an der Rezeption oder im Frühstücksrestaurant. Aufgrund der derzeit angespannten Personalsituation gehe ich nicht näher darauf ein, sondern drücke zwei Augen zu. Alles in allem: ein Haus mit Charme und zum Wohlfühlen.

This was really one of the best of the hundreds of hotel stays I have had in my life. "The little things make it beautiful," sang the Sportfreunde Stiller, and that is exactly what applies here. The staff is super motivated, the furnishings are individually and beautifully selected, the location is unique, the breakfast is great. Thank you :)
