This hotel is a little gem , Vasilis was a superb host from the onset, in fact all staff were pleasant and hard working, rooms cleaned everyday, the pool was nice and there were plenty of sunbeds . Although we were there at end of July into August we found the pool area to ourselves for large periods of the day . The bar snacks were lovely and the cheapest bottles of mythos in greece (only 2 or 2.50 for large bottle) , drinks were mainly out of fridge with a few spirits . Breakfast was brought to our room as we tried the breakfast area which is outside but we're plagued by wasps which I suppose is common in greece at that time of year. Rooms were comfortable and had amazing view out to sea . The area is very quiet so if you want nightlife a few minutes in a taxi takes you to nidri , there is a nice restaurant 5 mins walk from the hotel which we frequented on three occasions. All in all if you want quiet and relaxation and are not too bothered about noisy nightlife then give it a try , the transfer isn't that long and is a nice journey with lovely scenery. I'd definitely go here again if I book lefkada . One more little snippet of information is that the pool closes for "quiet" time 3pm till 5pm which was really good , it gave you peace and quiet for a afternoon nap but again it wasn't that busy anyway , usually got busier after 5pm when other holiday makers came back after day out .

Amazing hotel. Everyone was super friendly, the food was amazing, and the staff were welcoming throughout our stay. It has been a pleasure to return here and use the hotel as a base to explore the Ionian Islands. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a cozy place with good rates.

We had such a lovely time at Vergina Star Hotel! We came for a few nights at the very beginning of the season, so everywhere was fairly quiet but we had a car so used the hotel as a base to explore the island. We had a Seaview room which was clean and comfortable - had everything you need for your stay including a small pool and free parking space which was nice. The staff couldn't do enough for you and Vasilis in particular was absolutely amazing - nothing was too much trouble, he gave us so many recommendations on places to visit and things to do, really made our stay special! As others say, there is only one tavern near the hotel; you can walk to Nikiana or drive to Nydri if you want more bars and tavernas. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant at the hotel but had a lovely coffee every morning (try the freddo cappuccino!) and a couple of drinks from the bar in the evenings after coming back to the hotel - everything is very reasonably priced including the hotel itself and I would't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

What a lovely surprise! I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and offered stunning views. The bed was very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist with any requests. The food and coffee were excellent—definitely a highlight of the visit. Overall, it was an amazing holiday. I’m already looking forward to returning and will certainly recommend this hotel to friends.

Had a fantastic stay here. The hotel is very clean, with lovely rooms, a good-sized balcony, comfy bed, powerful shower, and a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast and coffee were amazing with plenty of choice. Prices are very reasonable, and you can also buy drinks and snacks at the hotel. The pool area is lovely, quiet, and well kept. The maids clean the rooms every day. The location is peaceful, about a 25-minute walk into town where there are supermarkets and some nice restaurants and cafés, or you can take the bus. Overall, it was a quiet and relaxing stay — would definitely recommend!

Staff were rude. Pool was closed during lunchtime would not recommend it.
