My daughter and I spend one weekend every December Christmas shopping, ‘cocktailing’, and eating in Leeds. We choose a different hotel every year in the city to use as our base. This year we chose Quebec’s and now we know we cannot go anywhere else in the future because this hotel easily tops everywhere we have stayed in the past eight years ( including the Hiltons and Plazas)! The building itself is rich in history which is lovingly preserved by the owners for us to enjoy. Rich oak panelling and stained glass windows make this such a unique hotel. The room was beautifully appointed with mini bar, coffee machine etc. The products in the bathroom are first class and the beds are superbly comfortable but best of all despite a ‘full house’ the hotel was so quiet. The staff are unbelievably friendly and we honestly felt, despite the five star ‘feel’ of the hotel, part of the family as the weekend came to an end. Their style of making us feel welcome was wonderful. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, it is quirky without any halt on style all glamour, it is a superbly romantic hotel and ideally located for central Leeds shopping and right in front of the station.
This was definitely a mixed visit. On arrival we were checked in quite quickly receptionist was firmly enough although the reception desk itself seemed more like an information hub then a check in desk so the initial walk in was a bit confusing for me and my partner who don't stay in many hotels.. the one main thing that I noticed in the reception area is just through a set of double doors towards what would seem to be a fitness studio with an overlook of the pool had a chair with quite a nasty looking stain picture included. On arrival into the room things seemed clean tidy and presentable although there were a couple of things that could have been better for example one normal sized towel and 3 hand towels wasn't great and 2 towels would have been better, the toilet roll was very basic and clearly the cheaper stuff which you wouldn't so much expect when staying at a village hotel, there was a tile missing on the bathroom floor with a questionable amount of dust and dirt inside and around this hole and finally the doorframe seemed to be hanging off pictures of this are included. We had a look at the restraunt menu and it's safe to day if you don't fancy a burger, salad or chicken wings you will have to make other arrangements as we did by visiting the local residence 74 cafe about a mile away where we had a lovely time great food and a reasonable meal price. The bar is quite an open space and at first a bit confusing as there are some cinema chairs and big tvs but only playing the news. We had a drink I'm the evening this was probably priced for the venue but at £15 for a single vodka and lemonade and a double whisky we decided on only one when we found out that the bar closed for residents at 11pm which we found a bit early as other places stay open for residents. Room service would have been an option but from what I read this finished at 9.30pm and the is no in room phone to order such. Sleep was comfortable and sheets were clean it was just very hot as the window barely opens, there was no fan provided and no aircon. The TV also says its an Internet TV but upon attempt of connection no services were available. This morning the hotel seemed alot calmer and relaxed, we weren't sure of the breakfast procedures at all so we just sat down and were asked our room number but my partner got quite frustrated as she is autistic and no clear instructions were given it took us a while to source out breakfast and when we did we noticed it was very limited consisting of mushroom scrambled egg starnge potato circles beans tomatoes sausage and bacon. Honestly for me hash Brown's and black pudding are staples of English breakfast and should always be included when possible but unfortunately they were unavailable. I was going to ask a staff member but only one was seen briefly. There was also a High table next to us that was very dirty and when the staff member went to clean she simply sprayed it didn't wipe it and moved on, this didn't seem very hygienic. Breakfast was very average the addition of streaky bacon and chipolata sausages as opposed to tradition thick sausages and back bacon seemed very odd and definitely not our cup of tea! Coffee was not good atall however they do have a starbucks with is great because we do enjoy it. The night receptionist seemed to keeping a very close on me without speaking I found this quite lntimidating as a hotel guest and would have preferred him to ask me any concerns he had other than staring at me until I awkwardly said hello in which he just smiled and looked away briefly until I did then followed me with his eyes towards the stairs and no doubt watched me on camera until I entered my room. Overall a fair experience perfect I guess if you just need a quick room and have to extra money to burn but not ideal for us so probably wouldn't return.

I stayed in the city of Leeds for 2 weeks. Because the second week coincided with the Spring Festival in 2024, I chose this apartment because the apartment had cooking facilities (there are not many hotels in Leeds that can satisfy your cooking needs). The overall castle architecture of Quebec is in line with European characteristics. If you like something similar, you can choose it. The location of the apartment is very good, just opposite Leeds Railway Station (between the station and the apartment is a square [historic building], take a walk and watch the pigeons, the square is close to the apartment and there is a bar downstairs), and next to it is Leeds Commercial Street, shopping , travel and food are all available, very convenient. The entrance and exit door to the apartment is on the side of the building (next door to the bar). The front desk is very friendly. The apartment is very tidy. This time I booked a one-bedroom apartment with an open kitchen (complete with tableware). The only drawback is that the refrigerator provided can only be used for refrigeration, not freezing (the temperature control for refrigeration can only be set to the lowest). Another shortcoming is that the windows cannot be opened (neither the living room nor the bedroom can be opened). It is probably unsafe considering that the windows in the apartment are too big (the windows in the living room are really very big), so the smell of cooked food evaporates slowly. .

Superb hotel, conference venue and the location and grounds are beautiful. Stayed overnight in a single room for a work event. As organisers the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Great facilities, lots of chill out areas and seating outside. My room was delightful, small super comfy double, nice bed linen, modern design, spotlessly clean, windows that opened (essential), contemporary bathroom, toiletries, fluffy towels, tea and coffee facilities and water. I loved the way the room design incorporated the stunning original features. I particularly appreciated the vintage bathroom door knob. The food was good, and there was lots of water available. The lunch was particularly delicious, tasty salads and authentic spicy dishes. The catering staff are particularly attentive, polite and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for business events and as a hotel.

🚗 Traffic: Very close to the train station and Leeds University, with good parking spaces. The location is relatively hidden and there is no obvious sign, so privacy is also very good. (Address: LS1 5JW)
🔔 Service: The front desk is very polite, need ID (generally not required) deposit 200GBP, five-star hotel lobby service
🧹 Health: It's relatively clean, maybe some old stains can't be solved.
🍃 Environment: It is a better hotel apartment with complete facilities. You may need to pay attention to not leaving the fan outside, which makes the room more complicated.

Booked this hotel as we were wanting somewhere to stay after watching the Cricket, it is a nice short walk from here to Headingley Stadium. The lady Jasmine who checked us in was lovely, friendy and cheerful. The room was clean and the bathroom looked to have recently been renovated, the bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. Would certainly recommend and would use again.
Friendly staff. Lovely big room. Very comfortable bed. Superb shower. Amazing view of the ground in the morning. Very handy for cricket, RL, the Brudenell and Hyde Park Picture House. Plenty of pubs nearby and not far from Leeds’ hidden secret - Lupe’s Mexican Cantina
We booked this hotel because we were going to a 40th in Chapel Allerton. Not knowing the area, I googled hotels with parking in Leeds and this gem of a hotel came up. So glad we booked. We arrived and parked easily right outside our room. We stayed in the “garden room” which was really spacious. We didn’t have any children with us on this occasion but it would be suitable if you had a baby as there was plenty of room to play and also space for a travel cot. The bathroom had two showers (really powerful) and also disabled access which is unusual so this would be a bonus if you needed it. We came in late and didn’t need to disturb anyone as we had the key to the room and it wasn’t inside the actual hotel. Breakfast was a range of choices and very pleasant service both in the restaurant and also at check in/ check out. Next time we come for a night out in Leeds, we will most definitely stay here. Family friendly and I also noticed a piano! Thank you for having us xx

Loads of parking, although would be better if there was a dedicated area for hotel guests as the bit nearest the hotel seems to be where everyone wants to park, particularly vans. Basic budget hotel with tea and coffee facilities in the room, a TV and a shower room. Would have said it was clean until I found a babies dummy under the bed on the last morning of our 3-night stay. Odd numbered rooms face the car park. On the ground floor rooms from 021 to 037 overlook the grass between hotel and car park where people stand to smoke and everyone takes their dog to do its business. Got a bit annoying when people stood almost against our window even when it was open. Closed window pretty good at keeping out the noise day and night. Additional door in the corridor just before room 021 also cut down on the early morning shouting of people leaving their rooms. Room surprisingly quiet. Did have one issue but it was sorted out pretty swiftly by management with no argument, so can't fault them on service. Breakfast is available for £7 but not much variety. Some cereals, yogurt, fruit, cheese and bread/cakes. Greggs next door much cheaper.
This place is fantastic the price, great solid wood bunk beds, really comthy, power supply each bed and light. Staff really friendly and helpful. A great night's sleep, the rooms and facilities are really great If you want a great place to crash after a gig. This is the place. Definitely booking next time I am in Leeds.
GGuest UserWe were simply intrigued by this unusual place when we were looking for somewhere to stay near Leeds recently. We drove up the drive and followed the well signposted route to the ample, free car park near the main building in the grounds here. Check in was done quickly with a friendly chap who was happy to help us explain where everything was in this unusual hotel cum religious conference centre. I had a single room Room 37 on the 1st floor that could have been mistaken for a modern monk's cell. There was a single bed pushed up against the wall. There was also a tiny desk and chair & a tiny flat screen TV mounted on the wall. There was a small bedside table with a reading lamp. In the separate small, but functional bathroom the shower worked well, there were sufficient toiletries and some good quality, thick white towels. There were enough sockets and the free WiFi worked well Whilst there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, downstairs there were a number of machines for making your own hot beverage. I can recommend the hot chocolate just before turning in for the night. Breakfast was in a dining room on the ground floor and it was surprisingly good with a good choice of cereals, yoghourts, juices etc. and a counter bordering the kitchen where you could select the items for your full English breakfast. Tea and coffee was readily available. Even though we were only here for one night, we had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Oh, and whilst it is set off away from the hub bub of modern life, you only have to walk down to the bottom of the drive to find a large Wetherspoons pub and further right, down the road, a selection of pubs and restaurants.
AAnonymous UserThe check-in was smooth and the room was clean and comfortable. But there was a bit of noise outside maybe from an adjacent building. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and plenty of food was available. There was no bath soap in the container which means the cleaners were not checking. Apart from that my stay was excellent. I recommend the hotel.
GGuest UserRecently stay here. And with it being a Britannia my expectations weren’t high. But I’ve got to say what a great experience. James the manager went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. I went to tell him myself the next day. However when I asked a member of staff where he was she said he was unavailable as he was at their sister hotel which he also runs. What a hero!
I was on my way home and just needed somewhere close to the A1. I was pleasantly surprised by the good size room, comfy bed and spotless bathroom. I’d had a difficult journey and the staff were lovely, helping me to relax. The receptionist found me a nicer room than my original booking and the barman had a nice chilled glass of rosé for me.
AAnonymous UserIt was in a great location being minutes away from the train station, city centre and the arena so would definitely recommend if that is what you are wanting. It was clean throughout but in areas could have done with an extra go over, although the service provided was brilliant, always someone at the desk to help and very helpful also. The only thing my partner and I picked up on is that the amenities wasn't all that good, for the price of the stay there could've been more. But overall it was a good hotel to stay in.

GGuest UserDon’t not stay here. Avoid. So first of all the owner was very intense and makes you feel uncomfortable. He slept in reception on a sofa which we thought was strange. Went to the toilet in the night and got told to go to bed while he was laid on the sofa. When we first arrived he was bossy and rude and made up go on a tour of the whole building which he bossed us round. The whole place is dirty and needs done up, the toilets stink of urine and the toilet seat came of every time it was used. The room we were given for 6 of us was tiny, the beds were awful. It did not have enough plugs at all. The carpet was stained and dirty. You would have to pay me to stay here again, avoid at all costs and pay more to stay elsewhere. It had bars on the window like jail.
