The hotel is well located at the entrance to the city of Mont Saint-Michel, but don't expect to see a surprising view of either the bay or the abbey. There are the roofs of the buildings that surround it that block the view. The room is quite spacious and well appointed. The bathroom has a corner bath, but no window. The beds and furniture are clean, but I was unpleasantly surprised to see the state of the window sills and frames blackened with dirt. I wanted to put my phone there to make a video of the sunrise but I was quickly challenged by the state of the windows. The hotel does not have an elevator and the stairs are quite narrow. Therefore, not suitable for the elderly or people with reduced mobility. There was enough choice for breakfast and the girl who served us was very nice. There were just some products (pain au chocolat, for example) that were not replenished. It was not yet the end of the service, however. We wanted to eat at the restaurant but the reservation is full. Surprisingly, passing there at the start and middle of service, a lot of tables are empty but we were refused access and sent to the restaurant of the nearby inn.

Hotel in Mont Saint Michel island. The location is very good in 1.2 minutes walk from the entrance. On this trip, I had to leave this hotel at AM6 and I had a very good response. I think it's a room like a Japanese business hotel, so I like it, but it was clean and I was satisfied. The only disappointment was that the reception, breakfast restaurant and rooms were all in separate buildings and had to walk a little. And the building with the room is very hard to understand. I was explained in English but I couldn't understand. At the time of my check-in, another customer (French) was just trying to check in, and he said, `` Because we are checking in now, let's go to the room building '', so we went together Was. I was able to go to the room immediately because they were there, but if I were alone, I might not have been able to get to the room. I had such a serious thought, but the room was beautiful and there was no problem after check-in. Except that the shower water pressure was weak. We stayed at the island of Mont-Saint-Michel cheaply and were quite satisfied. Finally, the location of the reception is just up the stairs in front of the famous omelet store (pictured). And stairs (photo) to go to the room building. The breakfast restaurant faces the street so you can see it right away.

This place is in a really good location and easy to find. Travel light though as there are no lifts and narrow staircases to carry your luggage. As most old places in Europe there is no air conditioning, so be prepared. You needed to step over the bath to shower so take that into consideration too. Our room was clean and had a small refrigerator, bonus in Europe. The restaurant has a good menu and drink selection. English is spoken, if required. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights because of its location, walking distance or free shuttle bus to Mont Saint-Michel; the room was clean and adequate, the only set back was no lift to the second floor where we were staying, luckily, we got our son to carry the luggage for us, there were plenty of few restaurants and shops near the hotel Gabriel and other hotels. It was a good place to stay if you want to explore the area properly.

The hotel is the first one to the left of the road to the Mont Saint-Michel, so you can see the holy mountain at the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. There is a 15-minute free bus to the front of the hotel, and the weather in the morning and evening. Cold, the bus is much more comfortable. The hotel is fully equipped and clean, with a small area. Breakfast is common, there is a door stop that requires a password before entering the hotel area. You need to call the front desk to open the door with a password, and go out with the incoming ticket and credit card 6.5 Euro. It is a very rare experience to be able to stay overnight on the island. There is no elevator and you have to climb a narrow spiral staircase. The sheets and rooms were clean. There were numerous small insects by the window. Breakfast was simple western food, but fine. The cheese and prosciutto ham were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful with smiles for directions and cab arrangements.

The hotel is in the scenic area, about 20 minutes walk from Mont Saint-Michel Castle. There is also a free shuttle bus to and from Mont Saint-Michel. The room we have has a balcony overlooking Mont Saint-Michel. The hotel does not have a lift and the luggage must be picked up by the guest. There is a parking lot in front of and around the hotel, and the parking fee is charged by the entrance of the scenic spot, 4 Euro per day. There is a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, and there are many restaurants around, which is convenient.

Basic room but very clean, reception staff is great, we visited on the day when the Olympic Torch was passing through so there were special arrangements for parking and shuttles, but it was well-explained upon check-in. Note: if you’re arriving by car you need an access code from the hotel to enter the gates to the hotel zone, if you book through trip.com the hotel will not email you directly, remember to contact the hotel for the code after you book.

Good location. Some staff members were very friendly though I could not vouch for all. But overall is fine. One thing I wish, like other before mentioned, that they do a better job to notify customers with driving of the code needed to pass the gate bar get to get to their premises a head of time, by email, for instance. That would save the confusion and inconvenience from the customers who are first time visitors.
