Traveling from Minnesota to eastern Pennsylvania, we stopped here to spend the night on Sunday, December 17, 2023. We usually prefer to stay at older established hotels in a downtown setting, not the huge corporate ones that clutter up the areas next to the interstates. These big corporate hotels are all about making big money, often have poorly maintained premises, especially the rooms. They do not really care about the customer. They know they will always have a steady flow of customers by their easy location. This is one of those places. Sure, they spend some money on some fancy looking fixtures in the room, but do they care abut maintenance? No. The room was okay, quiet at night as our room was not near the freeway. The TV did not work in the room, too tired to want anyone to come and fix it. The breakfast in the morning was cheap, cheap offering. They know how to cut corners.

This property is very conveniently located off the interstate and the staff was very friendly. For a road trip/pit stop, it has everything you need nearby, e.g. gas, fast food, sit-down restaurants, etc. The common rooms of the property were well maintained, and they offer a complimentary hot breakfast. Our room was pretty beat up. I was surprised about the condition of some of the furniture, with very obvious scrapes and chips. The television was a nice flat screen, but the channel guide was very messed up (guide did not match was what airing); I’m not sure if that was a hotel issue or a cable provider issue. The tv was a minor issue in the grand scheme of things, but just one more thing that seemed not maintained. The hotel was fine for one overnight, but I’ve stayed in much nicer Hampton Inns.

This hotel was clean and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good too, except only one person was working and she couldn’t keep up with the demands of guests, though she did continue to work very hard. Our room was nicely appointed, but I think whoever did the construction in the bathroom had a level that was half a bubble off. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed because the shower rod wasn’t straight. The mirror and/or light in the bathroom was also crooked. The toilet paper holder was hanging on by a screw and the front of the bathroom sink had a lot of scratches and damage. There are plenty of places to eat, get gas, or be entertained nearby. With the interstate just a mile or so away, it was very conveniently located. Overall, the stay was nice, but for the price, I expected higher quality.

This was a typically good Hampton experience, even if the property is a bit old and tired. Our room had a musty odor. Other than that, our stay was fine. The breakfast was broad and plentiful, as usual.

Spent one night here for a good friend's funeral. Sucks! The hotel is old but clean. The only reason for not giving it five stars is that there is no digital key and no pantry, only vending machines.

Weekend up-charge is too high, please correct your room charge. We had a dog with us, Wednesday’s night stay we were charged $50.00, as stated on your website, Friday night, you charged us $75.00, guess the dog gets an up- charge too. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent. We arrived late Wednesday and the reception told us not to let the dog on the grass, there are a lot of ticks this year, good to know.

As other reviews that have been posted, yes, this Hampton Inn needs some TLC but scuffed furniture does not make for a comfortable stay. I have been staying at Hampton Inns for years when I travel for their consistently comfortable beds and enjoyable breakfasts. This one missed the mark on both. They switch to down pillows which I noticed after having a severe allergic reaction. They had no alternative pillows available and slept with a comforter as a "pillow". At breakfast, the eggs were heavily salted , so much so I had to dispose of them and chose something else. The staff is pleasant and helpful but I still won't be staying at this location again.

We always stay at Hampton Inns when traveling because of the consistency of the properties being clean, well kept, comfortable etc. This is the first Hampton where upon arrival the parking lot entrance and lot was in need of resurfacing and there were a lot of tall weeds etc on the drive leading to main parking lot. Room had a crazy loud squeaky entry door, furniture was banged up with top layer of veneer missing in places showing plywood/pressed wood, room was very hot when we entered and almost seemed like A/C unit kicked on when we entered room. When we left for dinner and came back, room was hot and stuffy again. Staff was nice but they appeared understaffed. I called Guest Services and no one picked up at 5 am because front desk person was having to serve two roles—front desk and comp breakfast preparer. Not her fault… just understaffed like most places post-Covid.

Old and worn furniture, musty-smelling carpet, television didn't work, scuffed and wrinkled wallpaper, peeling ceiling paint in the bathroom, coffee maker didn't work properly (wrong tray insert was supplied, no USB charging ports, not a "standard Hampton Inn matress and bed-set, sheets didn't fit the mattress The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. If this had been my first visit to a Hmpton property, I would visit another
