Poseidon Apartments and Villas by the Sea

This is a beautiful gem, very peaceful and all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Big thanks to Marina and Kostas for a lovely stay, will definitely return ! Highly recommend 😊 it is not far from Athens and beautiful walks and swimming in the area , beautiful view of temple of Poseidon from the balcony !

We stayed in Sir Galahad, which was a nice room in itself. The sea view is available from outside the property - or a small window. Access to the beach was good - and allowed us to go swimming. Please note that the nearby sea acess is rocks, so suitable footwear is needed. The amenities states a fully functional kitchen. When we stayed, there was a single glass on the worktop. There was no Coffee/tea maker, no Cookware/dishes/utensils, no Electric kettle and no Stovetop. When taking a shower, the water was barely warm. I paid 175 Euros for one nights stay - this is not good value for money.

this is a lovely hotel very close to the temple of Poseidon. We took a room (I think the Camelot room) for our family of 6 and had plenty of room. There was a full bedroom in back for the parents and the main area had two bunk beds and then an additional bed near the door. The front door to this unit is a very bad design because if you grab the handle and open the door, your fingers get instantly pinched between the door and the frame so we put a towel through the handle to keep hands out of it. There are no blackout shades as far as we could tell and even a skylight in the ceiling so great for natural light but not ideal for sleeping in. There is a nice simple breakfast included and you sit outside with a great view of the water. There is a path leading down to a small, rocky pebble beach. If you swim out from the beach about 50-100 feet you get a great view of the Temple of Poseidon. There were two lovely ladies working the front desk the morning of our checkout and they were very helpful and charming. They even helped us with our bags as our car service was unable to get down the hill to the check-in area. We found this hotel to be very good value for the price.

Fantastic location for visiting Cape Sounion! Wonderful view of the Aegean and the Temple of Poseidon from my room. Quiet, relaxing … if you want to get away from all the noise and distractions this is the place! The property manager is very friendly, accommodating, and most interesting to talk to. Breakfast out on the terrace overlooking the sea was wonderful. Skip the big hotel crowd and enjoy a peaceful stay at the Poseidon Beach Villas!
