What a wonderful find. We were picked up at the airport by the hotel car €145 each way. A pleasant 55 minute drive. The service from the hotel was excellent, so helpful. We had the garden room with hot tub which was so roomy & romantic. You don’t get a great view of the lake but a lovely soak in the hot tub staring at the stars after dinner is very special. The pool area is gorgeous. The views incredible. The pool is heated & was lovely first thing as I had it all to my self at times. We didn’t use the sauna. The food was amazing. Breakfast was good with a selection of eggs to order plus the usual buffet. The dinner was so flavoursome, fine dining at its best. Plenty of good wine to choose from. We seemed to be the only Brits in the hotel which suited us 😀 but everyone spoke great English. We went up the bucket cable car which is an amazing experience. We also used the local ferries to go across to Stressa & the Islands which was an enjoyable day. The town is very quiet with a few nice clothes shops & a few bars/restaurants. We were blessed with great weather. All in all a great break. Great value for money.

Ho trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso in questo hotel situato a pochi passi dal Lago Maggiore. La vista panoramica sul lago era incantevole, soprattutto al tramonto. Le camere erano spaziose, pulite e ben arredate, con tutti i comfort necessari per un soggiorno rilassante. Il personale è stato molto cordiale e disponibile, pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. La posizione dell’hotel è ideale, perfetta per esplorare le bellezze del lago e dei dintorni. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel a chiunque cerchi tranquillità e bellezza naturale.

The hotel was fantastic. From the moment of a very warm welcome upon arrival, the hotel was very special. Beautifully located on lake maggorie, fantastic food and service during our entire stay.

Wunderbares Hotel um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Der etwas ungewöhnliche Name ist Programm für die freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Pool mit traumhaftem Blick über den See. Hervorragende Abendmenüs mit mehreren Weinen zur Auswahl. Die Weine in Buffetform stören die ruhige Atmonsphere des Abendessen nicht.

È la seconda volta che soggiorniamo in questo hotel e ha confermato le aspettative. Bella e spaziosa la camera fronte lago. Una chicca la piscina a sfioro con vista lago. Ottima la cucina e complimenti al personale. Prezzo in linea con l ottimo servizio.

Hotel De Charme is a wonderful place to stay. Beautifully situated overlooking the lake and in the peaceful town of Laveno. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout. The room was very comfortable and the pool area is great. Dining with the inclusive meals was excellent. All in all a wonderful place to stay and explore Lake Maggiore, with faultless style and service.

Un hôtel qui coche toutes les cases pour qui cherche la tranquillité, le bien-être, avec vue sur le lac Majeur. Celle-ci depuis la piscine à débordement suffirait à elle seule à justifier un séjour, mais la gentillesse du personnel, la qualité générale de l'établissement en font the place to spend a few days in Paradise !
