STAY HERE!! Location / price / view / service / awesomeness!!! THE OWNER Lets start here! Tim, who is the owner and lives local is sensational and really makes the stay absolutely awesome!!! He has a yarn with all the guests at breakfast (which was included) and makes the effort to ask questions and get to know the guest :) wow - what a difference this makes to a stay! I never realised it until I met Tim - what I also loved was that you can tell he has REAL PRIDE in his business as he talks excitedly about the upgrades he is going through and this excitement for the business flows on to the staff that work for him who were all lovely, happy, friendly and helpful 1. I was upgraded upon checkin - my room was awesome! Top level great views! 2. I had a late checkout which was great as I had a late flight 3. Help with info on where to go and what to see - specifically Tim saying to come down and see him daily if I needed help on where to go 4. Shuttle service to airport help 5. Had an early check in at 12pm - Tim accomodated me as I had an early flight Tim even helped to organise the airport shuttle for me and called them up to secure a good price 😀 what service!! If only all owners took a page out of Tims book THE ROOM Wow! Loved it! Nice, clean with awesome views!! I was lucky to get upgraded and had top floor views over Launceston town and I couldnt wait to head back to the room after a day of exploring The bed was soooooooooooo comfortable and the BEST pillows ive ever experienced - I hope I can find 1 to buy for myself! So good! The shower… hello! What great pressure and hot water is fantastic! Mini fridge and microwave with cutlery if you want to have your own meals (which I did) so was perfect for me and one of main reasons I chose this accom BREAKFAST Amazingggggg fresh fruit!!! Chopped fruit around 8 options - this was the best part for me! Also choices of cereals and juices Toast - white / brown / raisin with jams honey peanut butters Black Coffee You can also upgrade and pay for a hot breakfast If you need parking there is free on the property Lift is quick and easy to use Bags kept at reception safe and sound when needed I have nothing negative to say at all about this accom but they have set the bar high in customer service for me Thanks Tim! Very nice staff and it is clean and comfortable. Every time when we come back, we can feel very relaxed. Outside is cold but our place is warm and we can have very relaxing hot shower. There is free internet and there are many T V channels and movies to see. I can keep in touch with my family overseas. Kids and I can enjoy movies together. The location is very good. It is in the city and very convenient to take public transport or visit tourist information centre to join tours. There are lots of warehouses, department stores, shops, cafe or restaurants around. I recommend anyone to stay at Launceston Central Apartment Hotel.

This must be the only hotel in Australia that charges more to book direct than through a 3rd party. I stayed twice because of the location, once through Air BnB and once directly. The Air BnB offer seems to be a sublease through a guy who rarely responds to messages and the front desk don't deal with his bookings. I tried to extend my first visit but he wouldn't respond so I just left. The 2nd stay I thought may be better booking direct but they wanted to change me more $16 than online. They honoured booking.com's price when challenged but this seems very poor practise. The staff were kind and the room was clean but I wouldn't be bothered again.

While there was nothing seriously wrong with the place, there were many things not right. You would expect a 4 person room to have things like 4 sets of glasses or cutlery, but nope. The car parks were also filled with old junk (lounge suite, fridge etc.) and are a very tight fit, if someone doesn't park perfectly don't expect to get your car in. The rooms are very tired and dated. Our room had gaudy pink tiles in the bathroom with a shub rather than a proper shower. We used the laundry once, paid the $2 to use the washing machine which didn't complete its cycle and we returned to find clothes that hadn't been rinsed or spun. The many notes around the rooms made the whole place feel unfriendly - I get that extra costs have to be charged in some cases but a simple welcome book like most motels have that outline the rules is far nicer. Overall though the rooms were clean and the guests were quiet. If you're just looking for a place to stay this place is OK. It worked for us and I'd stay here again if it was just for a night or two.

The rooms are large, all of them are suites, there is the hotel's own restaurant downstairs, connected to the parking garage, a parking fee of $ 8 a day, the location is in the urban area, the city itself is not large, basically can be walked, it is recommended to stay

The hotel was clean as expected and in a good location overseeing Launceston. Service staffs were nice and helpful and parking is easy at the location. Recommended.

Love the Complimentary and Ample Parking Space The location of the hotel is about 10-15 mins walk to the main city centre, considered a good location and the City Park is just opposite the hotel. The hotel is divided into a few blocks, if you have big luggage, make sure you find out the block before you start lugging your luggage as the lift only serve the front building, not those at the back. The room is small compared to some other hotels with similar pricing. Seems some of the rooms have just been renovated and at the moment, the facade is covered by scarffolding and we missed the entrance to the carpark. Complimentary parking is a good gesture and this makes the stay convenient and pleasant without breaking a hole in your pocket.

The hotel is in a very good location and is easily accessible by car. The room facilities are complete, especially a washing machine and dryer. There are many restaurants downstairs, and it's nice to go downstairs and walk along the river. There is a children's playground within a few minutes' walk.

We had a lovely stay in a two bedroom apartment for two nights, The apartment was very clean and tidy. Everything we needed was supplied. So comfortable and welcoming. Big plus.....The shower was amazing. Very friendly and helpful lady in reception, always nice to be greeted with a smile
