The food. Menu is extremely limited. Mac cheese was 100% a microwave meal put on a plate. Pizza looked shop bought. Food took ages and there were only 4 tables dining. Expensive for what it was. Hotel. Room 16. Mattress hard. Duvet cover way too big for duvet. Room has a linked door and could hear everything next door. And I mean everything! Even low conversation. Room above had noisy floor boards. Bathroom had a faint smell of sewage. Tv is tiny. Absolute rip off for £150 a night! Sub standard two star hotel. This is literally the worst Premier Inn I’ve stayed in and I’ve had to stay in a fair few with work. The fact they put me (female) in a room with a linked door with a man staying the other side is shocking. I definitely didn’t feel safe and woke up to every noise.

Stayed in a Premier Room with good facilities and very pleasant helpful staff and as always at Premier Inn a really great breakfast. Lots of available parking not much road noise and easy access to the next door facilities for breakfast, dinner & bar.

Poor amenities, reduced menu, no draft drinks, and knocking pipework when the air con is switched on. Very poor considering the high room rate charged

I opted for the plus room and was very disappointed with the cleanliness with dust all around the beverage area , enough to write 'clean me in'. I have complained but without response as yet. Also they have introduced a £9 car park charge for each night, this is a ANPR system and its applicable even if you have paid to stay in your room. Total rip off. The meal deal gives no value at all as they have limited the menu and could not give me a drink as they had no draft beer and bottled beer was not included, had to opt for the house wine! Breakfast was also served cold.

Arrived and was advised by the receptionist that there was no food being served. I expressed my frustration at the receptionist that I was not informed of having to pay for parking, on check on, it was up to me to read the signs, apparently!! When I suggested to him that he should tell the customer to pay for parking on check in I.e it was his job!!, I was accused of being rude, by said receptionist. Had I not asked the question, I would have been subject to a fine!!

I have stayed at this hotel many times and always enjoyed the experinece (as I did on this occasion). They are just about to start charging for parking, which is a shame because the building has lots (and lots) of parking space and being asked to pay for this seems totally unnecessary.

Stayed in a family room, beds were a bit lumpy, air con was a bit loud but nice enough overall. Could do with enough cups and glasses for everyone in the room. Breakfast was nice but there could have been a better variety of drinks. Friendly staff, was nice and quiet. They now charge £9 for parking so be mindful.

Have used this hotel many times previously and arrived to discover they now charge for car parking. Planned to have evening meal in restaurant but was informed on arrival that the restaurant was closed due to staff shortage, advance notice would have been nice. Will look elsewhere next time.
