The hotel is located in the suburbs of Las Vegas, close to the old street, and it is suitable for self-driving. The room was spacious and the bed was large. We came back from the Grand Canyon and had a rest here, so there was no casino hotel in the city. But I think it is very cost-effective and very suitable. Parking is free and very good!

Stayed here for half a month, the hotel environment is very good, the service is good, and the spa is very comfortable. Room facilities are complete, kitchen, washing machine, dryer are all available, it is recommended to book a luxurious one- or two-bedroom room, the price is super high. Except for weekends, there are not many people on weekdays, and it is quiet and suitable for vacation.

I actually stayed here in June of 2018 but there was no options for 2018, only went to 2021. My husband was in a horrific car accident while working in Las Vegas and was in the ICU at the hospital. I stayed here alone for two weeks until he was able to leave the hospital and we drove home. The room I had was recently remodeled and the bathroom was huge with a beautiful glass shower and a long counter space with a large mirror. I loved the bathroom. The bed was high up, super big and so comfortable. The bedding was luxurious and the comforter was top notch, very poofy and soft. The room and bathroom were spotless. There was a housekeeper there, an asian lady, and she was so sweet to me. I had told her what happened with my husband and why I was staying there. She asked how he was doing every day that I saw her and she was very caring. They have a Starbucks and a restaurant that I got dinner from every night and took up to my room. Even though I stayed there alone, I felt safe being there. There was a worker in front of the elevators that you had to show your hotel key and i.d. to before they let you get on the elevators to go up to the rooms and I was glad they were doing that. There was also a bakery there that had alot of yummy desserts to choose from. All of the workers were so polite and professional. I would definitely stay again. It was my first time staying at the Palace.

(If you don't ever plan to use the pool or non-existent hot tub included in your resort fee, then this review is not for you). The grounds and Suncoast ****** and hotel itself is well kept, with friendly staff, and is very clean; however, a major draw in hot Vegas is a well kept pool with jacuzzi and relaxing vibes, as the crowd INSIDE the resort tends to skew more subdued and mellow. Unfortunately, this could not be further from the truth when it came to the ”resort pool.” There is NO jacuzzi/hot tub. and while it looks great in photos, of the many times I have stayed here, the pool is literally OVERRUN with unchecked kids, and BAD parents who let them run amok, literally RUNNING off paying guests who dare try to enjoy the pool and its ambience. I am writing this in my sealed hotel room, and can STILL hear the screaming 5 stories up, after having reached my limit with the incessant SCREAMING of young kids, that drown out the pool background music, ironically played by the hotel, for what reason, I have no idea, as nothing can be heard over the 'kids pool' that seems to serve as a free daycare with negligent chaperones and rude parents. who actually encourage their kids to be as loud as possible and take over the pool. I love kids but there is a time and place and for Suncoast to risk sacrificing the guest experience of actually adult gamblers and basically those paying Suncoast, which is the bread and butter of their business, to ”accommodate” inconsiderate, rude, entitled parents and their unruly kids (which DO NOT contribute to Suncoast from a biz point of view), is enough to make me think twice about staying here. Even the poor pool bartenders are overwhelmed at being forced to become makeshift babysitters. I wanted to stay and relax but I was discouraged to purchase drinks because I could not see myself staying in such a chaotic pool environment. I wish I could say this is a one time event, but this has happened NUMEROUS times and it really diminishes the experience for better quality guests that will pay into your property and continue to return. Please keep this in mind when booking here if you were looking forward to being able to even get into the pool (as the kids make it impossible to even enjoy your own little spot in the already small pool). There is no hot tub either, so please keep that in mind as I assumed ”resort” meant hot tub.

It's okay. Some rooms are a lot older than others. Service needs some work.
We stayed at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas over Thanksgiving in November. I booked a studio suite and I requested an upgrade through Marriott using my suite upgrade allocation. It should have put me in a one bedroom. The day before I arrived, I received an email telling me I could upgrade to a one bedroom for $60 per night. I replied back that I had requested the upgrade using my suite nights allocation. They should be able to confirm it at no cost. I did not receive a reply. When I arrived at the hotel, they tried to tell me that I needed to pay them $60 per night for my existing room. They then determined this was incorrect.
When they gave me the room key, they told me that they had used my suite upgrade. I went to the room only to find that it was the studio suite that I had originally booked. I went back to the desk where they figured out that I should be in a one bedroom. They checked me in again and sent me to a different tower. It was a one bedroom.
The suite was large but definitely worn and dated. It was clean but the room had no personality.
The food at the hotel is just not great. We ate at their coffee shop twice. The iced tea was horrible. It was from a tap. The food was sub par. If you stay at this hotel, use delivery or go out to eat.

As normal, my reviews are usually based on how a particular hotel or restaurant rates in its class, and against similar competition. In other words, a Hampton Inn isn’t to be compared to say, a Four Seasons. And on that note; Gold Coast Hotel and ****** is not to be compared to The Palazzo, Wynn or The Bellagio, all of which are located on the strip. Located just a mile west of the strip, on W Flamingo, the location is actually better than expected. One can be on the strip in a 15-20 min walk. So, though not on the strip, it’s not as bad as some of the other comparable hotel ******s. We were in town to do a show, and needed ample parking for our trucks. So staying on the strip was out either way: That leaves a few select hotels that could accommodate us; and many of these are in rather sketchy areas. GC has a huge parking area in the rear, with easy access and multiple entries. Overall, it’s probably not as large as The Orleans, but certainly a better location in my opinion. And it’s absolutely light yrs better and much safer than the “Wild Wild West Days Inn” on Tropicana(in which I’ll say in bold text, STAY AWAY!”) The GC exterior seems the same as the day it was built: in other words, old and worn…lol. However, enter inside, and you’ll notice a much improved interior to its humble beginning. The decor still leans classic, but with a touch of modern: And overall actually, quite nice. There’s plenty of gaming, and several restaurants, including a TGIF, which I did not try, and a really good Chinese joint, which I did. The lunch menu was reasonable, and the quality was actually pretty good, if you want Chinese: And they’re open till 3am. Amenities here include a swimming pool(small), and a bowling alley. Neither of which I had time to use… Sorry Rooms: The rooms here have been updated with a fresh remodel at some point recently. A new Flatscreen tv, and a modern wardrobe add to the details. Note: I was one floor from the top, which can be tricky for battling the Vegas heat, for many hotel A/C systems. However, the unit in my room was more than adequate at keeping things chilled down(That one surprised me). The bathroom has all new tile, and a small window for some ventilation(nice touch). Water pressure was really good, but temperature wasn’t easy to adjust at first; but no deal breaker. Overall, the room was clean, modern enough, and the beds was decent for this price range. The service here was surprisingly good(I’ve read this before, and in many places, from those who have stayed at many of the Boyd properties). Everyone was extra friendly, and made the extra effort to make one feel welcomed. So, while not a Four Seasons, you’ll have no worries. Wrapping it up: Overall, this is a good choice for the money; and certainly has ample parking for big rigs, motor homes or other. The proximity to the Vegas strip is adequate, and uber and Lyft pick up right at the front door…. Believe me, that isn’t the case for m

My mum and I were visiting for 5 nights after touring the westcoast from the UK. We wanted a hotel that had a relaxed vibe after a busy day exploring, our holiday had been hectic and we were planning some nice down time. This hotel was perfect, we had a studio double queen and it was really big and some of the comfiest beds and pillows I’ve ever come across. The staff were fab, the pool area was pretty and chilled, pool just a tad cold, but didn’t stop us going in, it was red hot. The only downside and need for improvement is the hotel shuttle, so I know it’s supposed to go on the hour or half hour but it’s not enough and sometimes there’s not enough room for people. It’s only over the road so it would be good if they put on the shuttle every 15 mins especially during busier periods. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone, exceeded our expectations

Outstanding
GGuest UserI can't possibly express how extraordinary this property and its staff are.. I took a big gamble and placed 6 of our business team here over a conference week even though it was a brand newly rolled out hotel and ****** (which can be problematic typically until they can smooth things out with a bit of time under their belts) but not here! From the very moment we arrived we have been treated like VVIPs in every single way by each and every staff member across the board starting with extraordinary automatic upgrades for our entire team by the utterly charming front desk clerks to absolutely beautifully appointed two room Royal Suites with fantastic views of The ***** and Sphere. The location for anyone attending the Convention Center is one of the best possible placements on the entire ***** and is an easy convenient walk back and forth. The ****** is one of the nicest that we have ever gambled in with gorgeous custom made and super comfortable table seating (just 5 to a blackjack table vs being crammed with 6) with high caliber dealers and pit bosses. The dining options are absolutely first class and exceed expectations in every way with an incredibly varied selection of options that did not disappoint a single time throughout our weeklong stay. Dons Prime stands out as not only the best steakhouse experience in Las Vegas but was voted by our group as one of the top ten restaurants we had all dined in EVER (and that's a high bar with this well traveled group)... Even the food court was exceptional with fantastic made to order bagel sandwiches in the mornings and fabulous pizza as a quick afternoon snack. The cocktail staff was also some of the best that we have experienced as well .. Special mentions go to the lovely lovely ladies at the utterly stunning Bleau Bar positioned at the epicenter of the ******. The girls that assist you with finding a table at this bar go above and beyond to accommodate in even the most hectic of circumstances and work really hard to stay on top of the table turns to move patrons through swiftly and flawlessly to make way for new guests. We experienced them twice and were blown away by how hard they worked to secure lovely seating for our group both times. I truly can't say enough good about this entire experience and we are now firm converts from our previous favorite Aria and are now 100% Team Fontainebleau any time we are in Vegas. Can't wait to return ! Well done on what had to be one very difficult road to get open and staffed to such a flawless effect.
GGuest UserThe hotel was average. The room was a bit like a Premier Inn but not as good as there were no tea or coffee making facilities. Water was provided but only in two very small bottles - apart from being stingy this uses a lot of plastic, why can't water be provided in a large glass bottle or have places where you can refill your water in the hotel? I had to move rooms - I was in 20777 Canyon Tower and the fire alarm had a green flashing light which lit up the whole room and kept me awake, it was also cold in the room, I tried turning up the thermostat but it didn't help, and then the light on that kept going on and off too. It would have been nice if there were extra blankets in the rooms. There was also chewing gum in the bathroom bin making me unsure of how clean everything was. The second room 20877 was fine, no flashing light, clean, and warm (photos are of this rooms bathroom). The hotel staff were friendly and moved me with no problem. Also, bear in mind the hotel is close to the airport and the planes are very loud, not the best for a good nights sleep. The Kitchen did a good breakfast.
GGuest UserMy stay at NY, NY was great. The ease of checking in was great using the kiosk because lines were long and we had a long flight. Though our room was down the hall, and around the corner and down the hall and around the corner, it was worth the walk. The only thing was we did not have a microwave or a frig which I believe is because we booked through a 3rd party (not sure). I have stayed at other MGM resorts and never had this but it was okay because we were never in the room due to the convention. The only 2 complaints that I have one which is a minor one is the service we received at the Starbucks near the concierge desk/main lobby was not the best. They forgot my lemon loaf and was confused about it when I asked for it (she was concerned about the points we were using and never took our name). However, the one near the Swatch store was much better, less crowded and more friendlier. Secondly, the feeling I received from one of your guests members at the concierge's desk. I was standing in line waiting to ask a question about airport transportation, and the clerk made eye contact with me and then proceeded to look down at his computer. This went on a few more times. A caucasian couple come up behind me, we spoke and stood patiently waiting our turn and the clerk never addresses us. His colleague walked over to get something from the printer and glanced at him. When he finished, I was motioned to come up to the desk, and immediately the other caucasian clerk called the couple up to the desk. I was a little offended but I simply whispered a prayer that God would soften his heart. Now back to a more positive note....We also ate at Tom's Watch Bar, service was great, food was delicious and the vibes were good. For the little ones and the little ones at heart, visit the Hello Kitty Truck located outside between NY, NY and The Park MGM. I would definitely recommend staying here if you can't get into the MGM or Signature.
EExpatMade my annual visit back to the US, and this hotel was in the middle of where I needed to be. Once the former Lucky Dragon which did not have proper permits at the time, it seems that Ahearn family is utilizing the space as good multi-purpose. They ventured into a steakhouse, cafe eatery, chocolatiers, a performance dinner theater, and conference venue. The hotel rooms are comfortable, and the staff is quite friendly and professional. The lobby bar closes quite early but The Mint and Golden Steer are next-door, which brings in a lot of locals. I did not try the steakhouse in the hotel, though it’s definitely a solid venue in appearance. There are shopping plazas down the street, but there’s no microwave in the room. There’s not really a point to buy anything to cook. Food is available within the hotel during their opening times, and their breakfast is of a simple yet filling choice of three. I got the avocado three straight days in a row. Mimosas and Espressos blend well with bar options. One of the security guards gave me the background of their conference venue. I was able to buy some books from the very small gift shop. My suggestion is the gift shop can up a notch. I didn’t really use the pool, but the space itself is nice because it’s shaded a good chunk of the day. The position of my own room allowed me to turn the air conditioner off. All the toiletries are in the room, and the housekeeping staff is accommodating if you need anything. I stayed here and the Jockey Club within the first week of the visit, and both hotels are within the same price range despite different locations. Definitely the most logical place to stay if visiting local friends, as I do so on Burner Mondays at The Phoenix. Ahearn has a comedy, singing, and magic show offered with their room. The classic cars near the front lobby were really nice to see. Great job so far, and I look forward to seeing what else they implement there for my next visit.
NNatalie XThe check in process was quick and even though the hotel is huge there are plenty of signs to find your way to the right elevators and get to your room. The room was really nice, clean and the beds were comfortable. However when we went to use the shower as soon as I touched the handle it broke so I suspect the previous occupants broke it and just placed it back together. I called the front desk right away and they said someone would be right up .... we waited about half hour and then called again and spoke to someone else who said the carpenters dont work at night so no one was coming and they will fix it the next day... we were only staying the one night and she said not to worry when we checkout we wont be charged for it, but it was annoying having a broken shower handle and having to wait around for someone that obviously was never coming. Also I am still waiting for my deposit to be released so hoping they havent now charged me for what was already broken.
We enjoyed the casino and food options in the Luxor. But when we checked out the next morning they said they would help us out with some vouchers and they sold us on discounted tickets to see cirqu du solei. After we paid for the tickets we were told we would receive an extra discount/partial refund and have to pick up the tickets by going to another location and listening to a presentation. He told us not to answer any questions to make it as quick as possible so should only take an hour. I admit we thought this was strange but he told us the hotel had opened a new resort and this wad just there way of trying to get everyone to see it and hope they will stay in the new resort in the future. So we got an uber to the place and it seemed dodgy, the staff ushered us in and gave us a form to complete, I refused to tell them how much we earned and they didnt like that. So after another lady came over and tried to convince us to tell them they accepted we wouldnt tell them but they said they wouldnt give us the presentation or our gifts because of it. We filled in another form or declaration and managed to get our money back but the whole experience was horrible and was a huge scam. 100% avoid any vouchers or discounts as the hotel staff are just trying to hustle you and get all your information, it is a pyramid scheme trying to sell time shares and we were lucky we got out of it, although it was not an enjoyable part of our holiday and the uber ride there and back was a waste of money.
I wouldnt stay here again. There are nicer hotels and resorts all along the strip that are in better locations.
DDeanThis is one of the most confusing, poorly signed hotels I've ever been to. Vegas is a busy place and there's so much confusion as to where to go, which section your room is in, and how to get to the parking. The parking is like a maze of poorly signed confusion. The staff are also overwhelmed and don't always have time to help you properly. No room cleaning unless you specifically request it. The one good thing is its location North ***** opposite Ceasers Palace which has better signage and isn't as confusing.
GGuest UserGreat place to spend a few days in Las Vegas. The location, atmosphere, security, and vibe are all excellent. The facilities are a bit outdated, but they are still good. The cleanliness is satisfactory, and the staff who handle it are friendly and make up for it. I can definitely recommend Excalibur for a stay!
GGuest UserMy leisure, libation, fun, enjoyment and pleasure all in one place. The exotic cuisine is authentic that’s why I find it to be perfect and excellent. The service is attentive and personal at it’s best. Keep me in mind everytime you want to make a deal in your promotions and marketing. I can use a break such as freebies, discounts, comps., free play, that are worth coming back for as incentive to get me in the house to patronize your business. Make it competitive for there are others that want my business as well but not attractive enough of a proposal for me to splurge and spend my social security and pension in wholeheartedly without regret and restraint. The most important thing is that I paint the town red, go gallivanting, find pleasure and enjoyment in everything I do and not be dissapointed and discouraged or disgusted and annoyed/irritated. Make me happy, is that so much to ask ? As I know for certain that the House always wins.
EEricI recently had the pleasure of staying at The STRAT Hotel, ****** & Tower, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and the iconic setting. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, setting the stage for a fantastic stay.
The room was modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with breathtaking views of the Las Vegas skyline. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, making it easy to relax and recharge after a day of exploring the *****. The room’s amenities, including the large flat-screen TV and fast Wi-Fi, added an extra touch of luxury to my stay.
One of the highlights of my visit was the incredible range of dining options available at The STRAT. Whether I was in the mood for a quick bite or a gourmet meal, there was something to satisfy every craving. The STRAT Café offered delicious, well-prepared meals, and the Top of the World restaurant provided an unparalleled dining experience with 360-degree views of Las Vegas.
The ****** was lively and full of energy, offering a wide variety of games and slots to keep me entertained for hours. The hotel’s entertainment options were also top-notch, with great shows and attractions that added to the excitement of my stay.
Of course, the absolute highlight was the SkyPod and the thrilling rides at the top of the tower. The views from the observation deck were simply stunning, and the adrenaline-pumping rides were an experience I’ll never forget!
Overall, my stay at The STRAT Hotel, ****** & Tower was everything I could have hoped for and more. The combination of luxurious accommodations, exceptional dining, exciting entertainment, and world-class views made for an incredible Las Vegas experience. I highly recommend The STRAT to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Las Vegas, and I can’t wait to return!
