Budget Inn Laramie

This motel is better than the average of motels we stayed in our trip in August 2024. The room is new and clean. We were happy to get this deal.

I urge you not to make the same mistake my wife and I did by booking a stay at the Budget Inn. We knew that we were getting what we paid for, but we had no idea just how terrible this place would be. It was like walking into a horror movie set - we didn't even feel safe getting out of our car. Unfortunately, we fell victim to one of those nonrefundable booking scams, and we regret it deeply. After this experience, I will never again book anything that is nonrefundable. The fact that a place like this exists is appalling. As we were waiting in line to speak with the attendant at the desk, the person in front of us reported vomiting all over their room. This is just one example of the type of guests you'll encounter at this establishment. The sign outside is nonexistent and the entire place is dilapidated and scary-looking. When we expressed our concerns to the attendant, they initially agreed to a refund if we got ******* on the phone. However, after finally getting through to someone, the attendant changed their tune and refused to refund us. Adding insult to injury, they even threatened to call the police if we didn't leave the property. We remained calm and professional throughout the ordeal, but it was clear that this place was a total scam. It's shocking that a reputable site like ******* would even list this place on their platform. The hundreds of two-star reviews should have been a warning sign. Please, heed my warning and avoid this place at all costs. Spend a few extra bucks and prioritize your safety and peace of mind.

9/16 stay over: Natural landscaping greets you , that means a **** landscape with tall weeds at lobby entrance While the lobby is kept, we got a room on the back side. Believe me, I thought I was imbedded in the Ukraine war as cars were abandoned, industrial flotsam and jetsam AND THE **** landscape was daunting to get through the back door. Back door? the filled trashed can only date back with an Egyptian artifact . Get my point. The room was a semi sanctuary, But we didn't leave, we escaped and thanks for our Clorax wipes! This is truly an oil/gas weekly rental mancamp disguised aS A MOTEL

This is worse than a homeless shelter. Violates safety and health codes and the owner should pay people to stay here. HORRIBLE hotel, over prices and I left after 2 hours due to bugs, stuff on the walls, hair in tub and on "supposedly" clean bath towels. Staff lies about the safetly of this hotel...it is NOT SAFE. Don't stay here ever!

This place needs to be condemned and start over. Lady at desk - Brittany, I think her name was, says she was manager, but unprofessional and rude and would not listen to my concerns. She didn't care about the issues with the room, no compensation offered, had a MAJOR attitude problem. I guess what do you expect from staff working at a dump hotel though. Doesn't look like they have spent a dime on maintenance in the last 20 years. Falling apart, lights out on exterior, had to try multiple rooms to find one that even could pass for a horrible night's sleep. Shower didn't drain, microwave disgusting so wouldn't touch it, Slept and got back on the road. Lots of better options in Laramie from what I learned later. Even if if you get a cheap rate, you are better off to sleep in your car at the gas station down the street than risk your life in this dump. Wasted my $, risked my life, but lived to tell the tale and hopefully spare you!
