Hotels Near Xihu Business Center in Lanzhou

The first question: I can’t believe that there is only one elevator in the entire hotel. I encountered elevator maintenance that day, so I ran up the stairs and collapsed! (The guy at the front desk carried my two big suitcases to the sixth floor) My child is less than two years old, so he has to be carried upstairs by adults! Second question: There is only one check-in counter in the hotel lobby, so how can one be enough when there are many guests? There was also a self-service check-in machine at the counter, but I was told that it couldn't be used. In the end, I had to check in at only one counter! The third question: There is a fence at the entrance of the hotel. You cannot enter the hotel immediately after getting off the taxi. You must get off at the intersection a little behind and walk to the hotel. This is not recommended for those with children and a lot of luggage. You must walk to the intersection every time you go out to take a taxi. . The fourth question: On that day, I offered to voluntarily add money to change to a larger and better room type, so I referred to Ctrip’s pictures. I was later told that the pictures were different from the real rooms because the room type pictures had not been updated in time. As a professional hotel brand, the above points are very disappointing! I don't give negative reviews because I don't want to be disturbed.

We had a amazing stay. Lovely beds, shower and the food for breakfast was delicious and had such variation! The staff were incredibly helpful. Li Wenqiao was particularly superb!! He went out of his way to help us we any questions and needs we had during our stay (often before we even had the chance to ask!). This included sorting us out car hires in Lanzhou and beyond. Despite the language barrier he made a sincere effort to make us feel welcome and check we understood everything we needed to know. Wang Naipeng was also amazingly helpful! Coming to the rescue when we ordered takeout to completely the wrong place 😂 We wish were returning to Lanzhou again soon, so we could stay in the hotel again! :)

The location is very good! It is very close to the night market, shopping malls, Zhongshan Bridge, etc. The room settings are also good. I booked a twin room with comfortable bedding and pillows. The shower water is big and hot. The only downside is that the aromatherapy in the corridor is not good and the attitude of the female receptionist at the front desk is average. The parking lot attendant is very nice, but I am not satisfied with the female receptionist at the front desk.

I stayed with my family this time. I didn’t expect to find a treasure hotel. The suites in their homes are very clean and the water is very hot. The front desk staff is very fast and the warm service attitude is very good. It is about 10 minutes walk from the attractions of Zhongshan Bridge. You can walk there. Love the room design and grateful for the free treats. The location is around 10mins walk to the lanzhou west train station, however during my stay there, part of the road was under construction, so it wasn't the most easiest to get around especially when the round overhead bridge only had stairs. Nearby there are lots of malls and place to eat. For the room itself, despite the cosy ambience, it rirks of smoke smell especially on my first day. At night, it's even worst as the air filter started leaking more cigarettes stench into my room. There is also no hairdryer provided. And what happened to the mountain view room I was supposed to have? The view outside is just the road and some dirty cityscapes. I was so looking forward to that 🫤. I was also locked out of my room after the first night, and luckily one of the cleaner helped me unlock my room and save me from making another trip down to the receptionist. Overall I will still recommend a stay.

Although room is small it is well designed. All the required amenties are available. Loved the free use of washing machine and dryer. Excellent reception service. Location is right next to Lanzhou train station.

The hotel is right next to Lanzhou Old Street, and parking is free in the underground garage. There are many classic restaurants opposite, including beef noodles. There is nothing to say about the location and environment. The family room in the hotel is also very large and very comfortable. We, a family of 6, including three generations, were very satisfied and comfortable with our stay. The bed was so comfortable that I didn’t even think about it on the third day.
