Family-friendly Hotels in Lanzhou

An international level 5-star hotel with impeccable service. The bed was so soft and comfy, the large tub was perfect to soak in, the room was spacious and very clean, and the view gorgeous! English is widely spoken and the staff were very professional, welcoming, helpful, and presentable. The gym and pool are also international 5-star hotel quality too. Just perfect!! So good, I would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to fly out the next day, highly recommend!

The location is really convenient. The front desk staff is patient and enthusiastic, and will answer any inquiries. It is very close to the Pedestrian Street, Zhongshan Iron Bridge, Baita Temple (Baita Mountain Park), Lanzhou Forest of Steles, within walking distance. We went down the mountain and took a sheepskin raft and ate at the Asiya Xiguan restaurant. There is Watsons downstairs in the hotel, and I added lip balm, and the northwest is still quite dry. The hawthorn candied haws at the candied haws store at the door is delicious, and the sugar is crunchy. The sugar of this kind of candied haws in Suzhou is sticky. It should be enough to stay for two nights, and you can also go to Zhengning Night Market. We flew from Dunhuang to Lanzhou, and stayed near the airport for the first night. Afterwards, we felt that we should have stayed here on Zhangye Road for the first night. Another thing is that there is a Michelle Ice City store on the sheepskin raft. Next to it is a specialty store. It is really cheaper than the ones on the highway or in the airport. Very solid. I didn't think about buying cigarettes until I arrived at the airport. Lanzhou Jixiang sold for 32 packs at the airport, and 25 packs outside. It sells for 28 outside the Three Fortress, and 40 at the airport.

All in all, this hotel's exceptional customer service and outstanding facilities made my experience truly unforgettable.

It was my first time in Lanzhou and my first time staying at CP. I only stayed for one day but had a very good impression. The hotel service was very good and the details were perfect. Every staff member I met was very smiling and patient. Zhang Nan, who checked me in that afternoon, introduced the hotel floors to me, who was staying at CP in Lanzhou for the first time, and arranged a rest while waiting for the room after the early flight. When I checked out, the front desk also took the initiative to contact and ask, as well as Wei Liqiao, Qu Ying, Xu Wenhu, and Ma Wenhui at the front desk. The 29th floor lounge not only has good hardware maintenance, but also is not noisy and very quiet. The lounge staff Wang Qian, Su Shuhui, and Nan Yuqiao who I met that day all actively served the guests, solved the guests' needs, cleaned the tables in time, and saw the guests off at the door when they left the lounge. Even the cleaning lady on the 23rd floor this morning greeted me at the elevator entrance, and the service awareness was very strong. The breakfast at add is also well-organized, with a wide variety of dishes. During breakfast, the service staff introduced the dishes to the guests at the Lanzhou specialty food counter.

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel. It is located right across from the Lanzhou train station. The area is very busy with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. It is very easy to use the subway right next to the train station to go around the city. There's also a bus terminal right next to the subway station.

The hotel not only has a superior location and convenient transportation, but also first-class facilities. Walking into the lobby makes people feel comfortable. The exquisite decoration and warm layout of the guest room are eye-catching. The bed is soft and comfortable, which made me sleep well all night. The hotel staff is enthusiastic and it feels very convenient and well-serviced whether checking in or checking out.

I rarely give good reviews, and the store didn't mention it, but I was very satisfied this time. (1) The room was large, clean, and smart. In addition to the bed, there was room to sit and rest everywhere. There was a smart toilet, and the soundproofing was OK. The rooms facing the street were not noisy. (2) The breakfast was very good value. In addition to authentic beef noodles, unlimited fruit supply, and freshly ground coffee, there were also hot dishes such as braised fish, stewed beef brisket with potatoes, and pork with preserved vegetables. I ate a lot every morning. (3) It was very close to Lanzhou University. I made a free reservation to visit Lanzhou University. The learning atmosphere was strong. There was an off-campus study room 700 meters away from the hotel. (4) The swimming pool was great. I booked this hotel just for the swimming pool. It was free to swim from 9 am to 9 pm as many times as I wanted, and there were few people. (5) The transportation was convenient. It was right outside Line 2. The key was that there were really few people on Line 2. (6) There were many places to eat nearby. If you want to eat beef noodles, there is a Jinqiang restaurant within a hundred meters of walking distance. (7) Since Lanzhou’s main attractions and transportation hubs are all on the subway line, transportation next to the subway is convenient, has no traffic jams and is on time. In short, it is highly recommended.

This holiday inn is the best of all hotels I have traveled in China. They are welcoming, staff is friendly and quick, and breakfast is good with an amazing price and location. It is located right next to one of the biggest malls and night markets in Lanzhou. I especially want to thank Lydia Li (李晓亚) front office manager for her exceptional help. She greeted us and introduced us to the culture and experiences in Lanzhou, and was most helpful in arranging appointments. She was the one that really brightened up our trip in China.

This is a very nice hotel. The room is spacious and bright, and the bed is comfortable, which allows me to enjoy a good sleep. The hotel staff are enthusiastic and attentive, which makes me feel warm. The hotel also provides a rich buffet breakfast, a gym, and every detail from the cleanliness of the room to the comfort of the bed is impeccable. Especially the lady at the front desk, who patiently introduced the surrounding snacks, check-in routes, and transportation, was really meticulous and made me feel at home. I strongly recommend this hotel!

An old four-star hotel with complete facilities and decent facilities, it obviously has the unique characteristics of a four-star hotel in the 1990s. It is close to the main entrance of Lanzhou University and convenient for travel. The check-in experience is not much different from what I imagined, with obvious advantages and shortcomings that are basically expected. 1. The service attitude of the employees is very ”standardized and decent”, and the overall experience is still good, but the system or traditional service concept restricts the customer experience. When you go back to the hotel lobby and ask for mineral water, the room attendant must deliver it to the room. What I can't understand is that if you are thirsty at the front desk and want to drink water, you need to go back to the room. The guest room is also limited to 2 bottles of drinking water per day, and they specifically say that they can't give it anymore. It's speechless. A bottle of water costs 1 yuan. It is estimated that families like us who send children to school will bring all the accommodation by ourselves, and the room towel washing fee and disposable items will save more than a few bottles of water every day. What is the current hotel like? I don't understand that with a room rate of 300+, four-star hotels still control water use. 2. The room glass window is a single-layer sliding window, and there is no screen window. It is not friendly to me, a patient with rhinitis. I sneeze when the central air conditioner is turned on, and the window is full of mosquitoes. I have to fight mosquitoes all night. 3. It feels like an old four-star hotel. Many room settings and configurations are still based on the star rating standards, but what customers really need now is actually just a few things. The most important things are slippers/toothbrush. They must be of high quality. Fortunately, I had a hunch and brought disposable slippers and toothbrushes in advance. The quality of these two items selected by the hotel is really disappointing. The towels and bath towels are of good quality. But I have brought them, but I haven't used them. I would like to praise them. 4. Many facilities are aging or not well maintained. The clothesline in the bathroom cannot be pulled out, which is very embarrassing; I want to hang the washed clothes on the shower curtain rod, but it is all covered with dust after wiping; the faucet/toilet is full of historical sense, which is very unreasonable. If the renovation investment is too large, it should be okay to change the faucet and toilet. This does not require basic changes. A few suggestions. I am not being picky. I sincerely hope that the old star-rated hotels can learn new management concepts, catch up, and create glory again.
