I would like to share my experience with the hotel "The First Resident Lamphun". Mainly from booking through trip.com, it seems to be normal, but on the day of check-in, I felt that I had the worst experience I have ever found. When I arrived, in front of the check-in counter under the building, there was a narrow place to park 2 cars. The condition too old building is shabby, not like the picture in the Trip.com and there are no officers there. We found that there was a ring bell to call, we pressed it very many times, including there was a phone number attached, we called the number, but there was no answer, we were there for almost 2 hours, when there was no staff, so we could not get room key. When we reported back to trip.com directions, the customer service tried to contact the property, but they couldn't too, so she was recommended to find a new place to stay by ourselves. At that time, It was raining heavily and windy, so we had no place to shelter from the rain, so we needed to quickly find a new place to stay. After entering the accommodation at other place, we made a request to cancel the reservation of “The First Resident Lamphun” In order to condense the story, we informed that we asked for cancellation but it was not approved, which was later found out that trip.com was able call to then "The First Resident Lamphun" and replied to trip.com that I have already stayed (falsely).
In conclusion, we didn't get a refund, but Trip gave us coins as compensation worth less than the money we paid. It is an experience that I want to share and I don't want others to be like us.
