Bella Vista Suites Lake Geneva

I knew going in this was a dated hotel, it was clean, room was clean; however I paid for a balcony view to enjoy the evening but it was full of spiders and spider webs, the railing was all rusty and loose so we paid extra and was not able to use it. For the price a complimentary breakfast would have been nice. With price of rooms owners should do some updates.

Stayed here in the past. This hotel has always been fantastic and my favorite place to go. It is a quiet place on a fantastic lake. Beautiful clean with amazing beds, sofa bed, microwave, refrigerator, in room hot tub, 2 large TVs, private balcony. There is also an amazing pool, hot tub and workout facility on the lower level. Prices are always fair and competitive. Very friendly desk clerk. I would highly recommend this place. The sunset is breathtaking.

My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay at Bella Vista. Our room was meticulously clean, and very welcoming! The crisp sheets and comfortable bed made it even nicer. We got a room overlooking the beautiful lake, as we enjoyed our morning coffee from our balcony. I highly recommend this hotel! A wonderful overall experience. We will be back!

Hotel is centrally located to all things. It is a little outdated but clean, and has a very nice staff. Our room was on the third floor and upon entering noticed it was very warm. Our entire stay we did not use the heat. Rooms and bathroom were clean, but every picture on the wall was crooked. Living area was nice with a couch, chair, and desk. Plenty of lamps for light, and a large TV on the wall. Thought the TV was not easy to navigate, and there was even a note about the hotel’s ongoing issues with the service provider. The channel guide was difficult to understand and navigate. Little kitchenette was nice with its mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink and cabinets. The hotel provided dish washing soap and a sponge as well as a few plates, bowls and glasses. I did snicker when I saw the silverware holder had one fork, 3 knives, and 2 spoons only. Bring plastic ones if you need more. Ice bucket was provided but you had to go to the font desk to get it filled. Odd. Even though there is an overhead light near the kitchen, they could definitely use a light above the sink as it is not easy to see when washing dishes. Like the rest of the suite, the bathroom was clean and filled with plenty of nicely folded towels. The bathtub is a deep jet tub and might be a problem for some folks to get into and out of even just to shower. I would love to have had a wall handle next to the tub for assistance. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and bar soap are provided, and they all were relatively nice items. The water was hot and the rain fall shower head was fine, though some of the holes were plugged so water only ran down instead of spraying out. I appreciated the retractable drying line in the shower. Moving to the bedroom…the bed was very comfy as were the pillows. Wish there had been a table, or at least a place to set my phone at night next to bed (only had one side table). Large TV on the wall and a balcony outside. Be sure to read the instructions given to you about how to lock the door. Would be nice to have the instructions posted near the door handle to avoid panic when you first try to re-lock it. We did not use the pool but it looked nice enough way down in the basement of the hotel. What I missed from this hotel was an onsite restaurant. Even though there is a fine dining establishment connected to it, something a little more casual would have been nice. They have a bar in the hotel but I honestly can’t tell you when it is open. Parking was easy, and free, which is nice since you have to pay everywhere in Lake Geneva to park. Like I said, you can walk to downtown and all sorts of restaurants from Bella Vista. Not sure of the upcharge to stay in a lake facing suite, but it definitely is a beautiful view.

Best value for lake side accommodations in beautiful Geneva Lake centrally located in downtown Lake Geneva complete with indoor pool, individual private balconies with every room, Lakeside or Parkside, hot tub, exercise room and Himalayan salt sauna! At a fraction of the price you would pay at the larger resorts! Quality accommodations at reasonable prices are hard to come by in Lake Geneva. Bella Vista Suites is worth every penny and then some!

The moment t you come in the the hotel you are treated with a familiar chilled vibe. The staff is so kind, happy, and just plain awesome. The Hotel is as pictured and if you're interested in getting what you paid for you're in the right place. Very spacious and clean. Massages and Spa facilities including an awesome sauna, well heater large pool, and jetted hot tub await. The Fabulous Baker Hotel and Restaurant is a diamond of an attraction connected to the fine hotel. The lake side balconies are worth the chil vibe and ambiance. The small upgrade to suite style is also worth the $. The microwave, stocked kitchenette and spacious mini fridge are also a plus if staying a couple nights. Parking is safe and free. The place is a perfect economical yet ideal and substantial hotel to book for a couple who likes a calm cool vibe without too many fake frills or extras that aren't needed. You will get your money's worth and feel like you got a great deal. Just a great bargain if you are looking for a quick and comfortable getaway to beautiful Lake Geneva. 😍 Thanks to each and every staff member!

We were quoted an outrageous price of $264.00. I did not know this at the time of booking, as my husband booked. The following is a list of items that certainly do not warrant that outrageous charge of a typical suite-room 203, to be exact: 1. Water stains on wall and paint peeling in hotel room. 2. Carpet stains in hotel room. 3 No breakfast voucher given, as it says on their website. 4. Worst of all: There was a loud wedding and a very loud DJ directly below our room. The constant thumping of the bass from the music went through our bodies for hours. We could not sleep. When discussing this at the front desk, they said there was nothing they could do. (Because we booked through a 3rd party app) 5. The "Wellness Center" is a joke. The hot tub was dirty and is surrounded by tiles on the wall that are coming off. 6. The entire hotel is very dated and not maintained as it should be. Positive: The staff were pleasant, helpful and responsive.

I stayed 7 nights in a quiet bedroom with a living room/kitchenette, TV in each room, plus an incredible balcony-table and 2 chairs with a gorgeous view of Lake Geneva. Also, a good view of the people who walked on the lake's sidewalk with their dogs. The bed was so comfortable, that I slept like a rock. Nice shades and curtains kept the room dark at night. I am not a TV watcher, but the lighting was good for reading. Convenient stretchy line in the shower to hang wet clothes. Nice sized pool downstairs, but a bit cold which made the hot tub very inviting. Easy walk to great restaurants and stores in town. I tried numerous different breakfast places and each one was really good. Kilwins has great fudge, chocolates and ice cream but their bars of white chocolate are to die for. The service at the Bella Suites was excellent. The rooms were kept clean. ATM in lobby. Elevators worked, but nice stairs to walk up and down between the floors if you want exercise. Parking garage with underground entry. No need to worry about slippery ice. I only wish it had been summer when their dock was in place to go swimming.

A perfect stay for our 40th anniversary! The Presidential Suite was amazing! The view was incredible! Huge space with king and queen beds, kitchen and dining room, living room, 2 person jacuzzi, fireplace... The desk clerk, Cassie, was the sweetest, most helpful, caring person, and honestly, a joy to chat with and get to know. Quiet time of year, so we had the pool and whirlpool all to ourselves each of the three days. It is an older hotel but kept up well. Walking distance to shopping and great restaurants.
