Delton Grand Resort

Well not sure what I can truly say about this place. We booked a king suite had no idea it would be down a creepy hallway and that all were themed. We got the jungle theme, doesn’t exactly scream spa or luxury. This place is so overpriced. The ice is literally and opened bag you buy at a gas station in a nasty old cooler at the end of the hall. They said they could not refund us even though there was no option to stay, there reason is that they were full. Mind you we didn’t see a single other person while we were there. This is definitely not a spa like feel nor a good place to go in the winter. I’m sure it is nice being on the water in the summer. I truly would not ever recommend this place to anyone and I’m very disappointed in our weekend birthday get away. The pictures online are very deceiving, I now have read mean reviews and lots of people complain of the staff and the overall cleanliness of the place. We paid $500 for 12 hours. Do not book here.

I would like to say thank you for the upgrade room . The original reservation was for the Las Vegas theme room there were a couple mishaps . But I don't like complaining at all . An she offered a upgrade which I greatly appreciate. Will recommend to my classy people.

Great place to stay, my wife and I were up to visit a friend and for the fall colors and stayed here for a couple of nights. we found the place very clean and a tremendous view of Lake Delton from our room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. For our short stay there we found we had everything we needed. Location was ideal as you were off the beaten path but very close to all the action the Dells have to offer. Very Satisfied.

Awesome weekend with some old college friends... Huge, clean room with our own garage which is awesome to have. Indoor pool was recently re done and looked awesome but we were only there for one night and never made it over. Super friendly front desk staff and awesome stay as brief as it was. Look forward to returning for longer stay.

Megan and Valerie worked the front desk and I had no issues with them. They were quite friendly. The man servicing the rooms always greeted us with a smile and hello. We had room #405 and it was jungle themed. It featured a couple of giraffes, a baby elephant and had a hot tub in the room. The shower felt like a human car wash with the body sprayers (nice touch). Cable tv with a lot of available channels. Sliding door to a walkout patio and excellent view/scenery. The outdoor pool was a couple minutes walk, and the water was nice and warm. The indoor pool was closed for renovations. We were given passes to Noah's ark and had access for the duration of our stay at this resort. This was more of a Airbnb feel than resort. If there was anything to add, it would be to add another lamp or more lights. We would definitely book here again.

We were on an impromptu trip to Wis Dells and stayed two nights in a one-bedroom on the lake at Delton Grand. We were in #430 which was comfortable and spacious for just the two of us; the shower was amazing with great water pressure. The view of Lake Delton from our balcony was just gorgeous and a great way to wake up. Plus, we were there mid-week in late August, so we got a great deal ($150/night). Some suggestions. There is some deferred maintenance, at least in our unit, that needs to be addressed. Several of the outlets/switches were loose or not working at all, and it was confusing figuring out what controlled what. We learned the hard way that we plugged our phones in overnight into outlets that needed a corresponding switch turned on. Additionally, we know hotel towels can be small and scratchy, but the bath towels were threadbare. The bed, which was comfortable, needs sheets that fit. Even a tiny movement meant the fitted bottom sheet popped off a corner. The pillows could be more substantial. Finally, the indoor pool was under renovation, which would have been nice to know on the website, and we had no idea where the outdoor pool was. We didn't ask about the latter upon checking in because we figured it was just around a corner or down the way, and then it became too hot to be in the sun, so it wasn't a dealbreaker. We are used to staying in rental communities like the one managed at Delton Grand and know these units are individually owned. But the job of the management company is to ensure everything works the way guests look for.

To start, the price we paid ($280) for one night was extremely high for the place we stayed. When we walked in to the stairs up to our room, the hallway light was flickering so much it was hard to see going up the stairs. Once we got in to our room we were greeted with the lovely smell of bacon grease that seemed like it was emminating through the air vents. Additionally, the trash can was dented all over the place. When we needed to use the pull out couch there was no sheets for it. I went to get in the shower and when I turned it on the shower handle fell on the ground. Since struggling to get it back on, I enjoyed standing in the 4 inch water since the drain didn’t seem to work. Not to add, the pool was under renovation so it was not usable. Not sure why they would do such a. renovation during their most popular season. This experience we had at Delton Grand Resort was nothing compared to what we expected. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We tried checking in around 2pm and we were told the room wasn't ready but they would text us when it was. We never received a text so at 4pm (check in time) we tried calling to see if the room was ready. No one answered the phone and we called 6 times 10 minutes apart. We finally went back to the office and she said the room was ready. We went to our room only to find dirt and crumbs all over the floor and counters. They made the bed but didn't clean anything else. The place was disgusting so we called the front desk but they straight up just don't answer. My wife went back to the office to request another room and she said she would talk to her manager and call us back in 30 minutes but never called back. I told my wife there was no way we were staying so why bother waiting any longer. We checked out after taking some pictures and dropped our keys off at the desk before leaving and were once again told a manager would call us in the next hour but we never received a call. Luckily we booked thru *********** and they refunded us our money and said they would handle this on their end. They also tried calling the front desk while they had us on hold but of course no one answered. I do not think we would have received anything back had we not gone through 3rd party booking. Buyer beware and stay away this place is an absolute dump and the service is non-existent.

Spectacular experience. Two Car Garage two level Condo Town Home. Having amenities is great especially when they all work...and everything worked. Internet was strong so we were able to Stream and run all our devices. My wife and Kids thought I was a rock star for choosing a great location. Unexpected surprise. Salt water Jacuzzi What!! Loved IT!! Located on the Lake which was great for morning coffee and evening sunset. We will return as it was a place we made some great memories. Oh yeah Del Bar was around the corner 3 minutes away. Had a truly wonderful dinner. I Had the Escargot and the Filet. Best I've had in a long time. Enjoy this place. Mike
