Do not stay here!!!! I have no idea how this hotel got any good reviews. I walked into my room and walked out! Dirty carpet with stains all over it! Old beat up furniture! Just nasty! I would keep driving to a new town like we had to. The front desk girl was nice. I hope she quits and goes to another hotel she can be proud of. This place is a motel. And not a good one. Beware!!!!

We traveled from Florida to visit family, and we arrived a lot sooner than expected. I called to see if we could possibly check in before the allotted time, I spoke with Matt at the front desk and he was beyond helpful! The hotel and room was very clean and convenient to everything. We will definitely book our next stay with them.

First, and most importantly, the room and hotel generally were very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was not bad but not great. A luke-warm shower in the evenings was the best I could do. A morning shower seemed a little warmer. The air conditioner would only cool to 71 degrees despite setting it to 67. The furniture was all very worn and even damaged as was the carpet. It was fine for a business trip where I only really needed a shower and bed, although both of those left something to desire.

The pool and hot tub was closed for maintenance. The bed was hard as a park bench and so was the couch. The breakfast pancake machine was broken. People slammed doors and talked in the hallway. I stay at a lot of holiday inn express's and this is the worst one I have stayed at.

If you are looking for a hotel with top notch service, choose this hotel! Shelby greeted us with such warmth and willingness to help us with all our questions about the area! She went above and beyond for sure. Today James made it is mission to get us on the network we wanted to watch a movie on! He didn’t stop until we were all set. He too was very warm and kind. The people here make this hotel! I highly recommend staying here.

I thought this place was terrific, despite the pool being unavailable for the foreseeable future. The food was good, there is 24 hour free coffee and tea, and the staff went out of their way to help my kid when they had a question. If you have sensitive skin you might need to sleep with your own blanket as I had a reaction to whatever detergent they use, but that was my skin’s fault and not theirs as so one else in my family had that issue. I would stay again. 😀

We have been searching the local area for a hotel to stay in when visiting our son at EIU. After trying five others, I can finally say that we have a winner. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The provided breakfast was varied and fresh. The fitness room is adequate for our needs and very clean. There is a coffeemaker in the room that uses KCups and those are provided if you didn't bring your own. I appreciate the "constant fan" option on the heating unit to block out noise from neighbors/the hallway. We will be back!

We were upgraded to a suite on a Friday. It ended up being a downgrade. Don’t do it in on a weekend! Out of control kids in the room next door. I’m sure a family was there taking advantage of the pool but they were certainly inconsiderate. Wonder what the room looked like when they were done! The beds in 307 must be shot after being jumped on so much. Nit the hotels fault but I’d avoid this hotel on the weekends in the winter for sure. Or definitely get a room far away from the suites.
