Was awesome. Note to fellow travelers: if you go to the train station, pre-arrange your cab as there likely will be no transportation options for you upon arrival, consider taxi from Rome.

Clients du LHW, de retour 10 ans plus tard pour nos 10 ans de mariage, nous avons séjourne une semaine dans ce magnifique établissement en dînant tous les soirs face à la Méditerranée, le cadre est vraiment merveilleux ! Par contre après 10 ans, malgré un personnel bienveillant, les prestations ne sont plus du tout au niveau, quel dommage… Par exemple, notre apéritif quotidien, simplement servi avec quelques olives… après réclamation quelques chips les rejoignent, nous sommes très loin des standards d autrefois ou quelques accompagnements frais étaient servis (comme dans tous les autres Bars de ce standing en Italie). La gastronomie est restée d un bon niveau, les vins sont par contre hors de prix. Nous avons l’impression que cet hôtel est devenu un lieu de passage pour une clientèle essentiellement américaine pas trop regardante au niveau de prestations. Nous séjournons tous les ans en Italie, nous n avions jamais été déçus jusqu à maintenant, nous éviterons a l avenir les hôtels de ce groupe Pelicano.

The level of service and attention to guests at this hotel is amazing!!! We came for our honeymoon (7) years ago and returned for our 2nd honeymoon this year…….Early to mid June is very nice…..where else in the States can you truly stay in a restored, historic villa that’s on the Mediterranean next to a castle built in the 1,100’s…..?
The food, photos, relaxation and amenities are 1 of 1……Lord willing we’ll be back for 4-5 nights next time……

What a perfect location for a quiet visit near the hustle and bustle of Rome. We loved the art, decor and the history this property had and really enjoyed exploring the grounds.

Incredible food and service in a beautiful hotel which is just 40 minutes from Rome airport. Although most guests seem to be only there for a few days (on the way home) the ambiance and service is that of a first class hotel which expects its guests to be there for weeks. We can't wait to return, as it is the perfect way to end a trip to Italy.
