My wife experienced one of the most humiliating unethical and disrespectful treatments by anyone in our life. The LaGrange hotel management are disrespectful and have zero customer service skills. The desk manager and the manager/owner Ms Patel treated us with incredible contempt and negative customer service. My wife was left with a yearlong reservation on the street and had to drive home early an unplanned trip as she was traveling with someone else Wednesday. To review the high level sequence of events: 1. We had a reservation for close to one year in advance for Sunday to Tuesday. From my Hilton App this day mid day. The dates still show through Tuesday. 2. My wife’s clothes, personal items, jewelry, and private layout of her room, as she was booked for one more night removed in a disrespectful unkept manner. Without calling my wife first in the morning to clarify the conflict. 3. The desk attendant admitted to my wife that someone last night between the hour of 11pm and 7am, terminated the next days reservation without a call or confirmation. Effectively arbitrarily breaching the room reservation. So they admit they changed the reservation and do not fix the problem. Just said sorry we’re booked. 4. So my wife needing to be respond to this emergency is pulled away from her business activities (1pm or so) to drive back to the hotel to have zero consideration and assistance for the circumstances. Unwilling to resolve the situation. Not sure why. We had a reservation, we did not cancel the reservation an employee did (arbitrarily) and her valuable personal goods tossed in the hallway lobby. 5. Distraught, inconvenienced, pulled away from her work, personally invaded with someone else touching and handling her personal goods, in other words understandably upset, like any one would, instead of the desk manager attempting to resolve the problem constructively, unwillingly said sorry we’re booked, calls the police called on my wife, versus taking care of her and solving the situation. Never have heard of such a horrible set of circumstances. I don’t believe that is Hiltons standard of treating customers.
