I booked this place on trip.com at 8pm on my way in to town. I showed up at 9 and nobody was there, it was locked, they didn't answer phone and I had to find another place. I hope to get my money back

Beautiful place! Closer to AirBNB style than a hotel. The bungalow we got was wonderful. Gorgeous shower/bathroom. A porch with a table and a hot tub. Everything was very clean. It's about 20 minutes away from the main town, but that shouldn't be a problem, even if you don't have a car. Uber is super convenient: quick and about $6-10 ride, depending on exact distance and time of day. DON'T pay excessive pickup fees from a tour like we did on the first day ($60 extra, ouch). Much better to get an Uber to a regular pickup spot. It's convenient to have a few tour opportunities in the place where you live! We arrived quite a while before the official check-in time, so we did the chocolate/coffee tour while we were waiting for our room to be ready, and had a blast. The guide Nelson was very engaging, and we got to participate in making coffee and chocolates (with some to take home!). And the by the time the tour was over, we were able to get into our room, even though it was still a couple of hours before official check-in). The night hike (led by Jhonny) was also great. So many spiders! The staff were all great. Even when the front desk is closed after 5 PM, they're accessible by WhatsApp and come in late/early to accommodate various needs. One suggestion: I wish the breakfast were open earlier. With so many activities in La Fortuna starting early, we were always out before breakfast started at 8. They packed a to-go breakfast for us to receive early when requested, but I don't think it's quite the same! Overall: 10/10, highly recommend.

Our stay there was wonderful. The owner and staff were all very helpful and hospitable. I liked having breakfast while overlooking the river and I especially loved the Bungalows in the midst of the Cacoa field. This gave a sense of peace and of being in touch with nature.
We also had the opportunity to do the Cacoa and Coffeee tour which was fun and informative.
I would definitely recommend a stay at Eden organic farms and Bungalow .

Absolutely fantastic!
Absolutely fantastic! I felt in one with nature, the cabins were in perfect condition, the service was really good! Even though there were some noise from trucks on the road outside, it could not spoil the 10/10 experience!

O quarto do hotel é muito confortável, com ar condicionado, geladeira, uma varanda muito agradável com vista para a mata. Os funcionários também foram muito atenciosos, quando chegamos tinha suco, café e água no quarto. O café da manhã é delicioso. Mesmo tendo ido em um dia que só choveu, o hotel foi ótimo para descansar e aproveitar o clima da floresta tropical.

Die Unterkunft an sich ist toll, direkt in der Kakaoplantage gelegen. Auch die Schokoladentour war super interessant und lehrreich. Einziges Manko: die Bungalows liegen nahe an der Straße und dort brettern die lauten LKWs vorbei. Ansonsten wäre es klasse gewesen, aber so kann man dort leider nur ruhig mit Ohrstöpseln schlafen. Das Personal ist super freundlich.

Eden provides very clean, comfortable simple accommodation right in the forest. Every member of staff was helpful and friendly. They provided us with dinner on our patio the evening we arrived. Breakfast was great, try the cold chocolate milk, so good.
We did the chocolate tour as well. Highly recommend
