simply wow, we spent 5 days here. On arrival, we were first briefed about the island, what to do, good places to eat, where it's most beautiful and much more. The whole process worked great, you could book bicycles directly or make a reservation at the Belle Vue restaurant, is recommended! Can highly recommend the accommodation, very quiet location, on a great beach and still in the middle of everything.

A few days before arriving, I received an email saying there was a 3% extra charge for card payments. I asked how much the total cost would be in Seychelles rupees so I could use the ATM before arriving but didn't get an answer to this question. As a lone traveller, I wasn't happy carrying this much money, so I had to pay by card. On arrival, I paid for 2 nights, which seemed less than the online quote. I paid extra for a superior room with a sea view. It stated that the room contained a sofa bed and coffee making facilities. Both of these were not provided. The sea view was ground floor across a social area, which meant it was not private, and anyone could look inside. The AC was only effective if you stood directly underneath it and it was much cooler outside than in the room. Wifi was extra. You had to ask for your complimentary water. On returning from a nice meal out, there were no lights round to the back of the property and I had to use my phone torch to see and avoid slipping on the wooden planks. This accommodation was definitely overpriced and lacking in quality and customer service. I will not recommend it to any of my friends or colleagues who regularly visit La Digue.
