I would give the hotel five stars for the quality of the room and accommodations, but am taking two stars off for the poor quality of sleep I experienced during my one-night stay, and for management's lack of concern. At 4:55 AM, my room phone rang. I picked it up and it was just a dial tone. About five minutes later, it rang again. This time, an automated message said something to the effect of, "the automated messaging service can't be reached." The first call I would have excused as a misdial; the second seems indicative of a hotel phone system issue. I asked the front desk staff when I checked out about it, but they seemed neither concerned nor willing to do anything to ease my frustration. I followed up twice by email and received no resolution. I stay in the La Crosse area several times each year. Sleep is my number one priority at a hotel. This Quality Inn was unable to provide me with a good sleep experience, and doesn't seem willing to make the situation right. Not trusting they'll do anything to fix the issue, I won't be staying here again in the future.
